We're looking at Oct 29 to Nov 7 2015. Just last week we were chatting with a CM on the monorail platform and he warned against the end of F&W as far as crowds go. I don't recall if he said avoid the last week or only the last day. Any experience with the last FULL week, I'm guessing F&W 2015 will end on Mon 11/9 and we'll be gone by then.

Thanks,

I have no idea what it's going to be like at the other parks but the festival in general does not affect anything but Epcot's World Showcase. If it's Jersey week it's going to be crowded anyway.

It is Jersey week, but those "crowds" wont get to the Parks until Wednesday the 4th at the earliest.

I put crowds in quotes because Im still not buying into the mythical Jersey week as being crowded.

The Food & Wine Half marathon the last weekend brings crowds too.

we are doing it this year

We did it 2-3 years ago
We go Sun-thru-thurs
AFTER Halloween
I found just Thurs to be crazy busy=and I am sure fri-Sat_sun-the last days are also

The last time we went, we arrived on a Friday, October 31st, and left the following Sunday. Yes, crowds did increase throughout the week. Our schools are closed next Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, and at least according to my Facebook page, lots of NJ residents are heading to WDW today or tomorrow. NJ may be small, but it's the 11th largest population-wise (and for some reason, folks in NJ seem to love WDW).

That week is far more crowded now than it was a few years ago. More people want to plan a trip that includes MNSSHP, MVMCP and the end of the Food and Wine Festival. It won't be Christmas crowded, but it will be far heavier crowds than the low-to-moderate crowds that week saw in the past.

Sure, its not dead, but its not even close to Holiday crowding, nor is it summer crowds. I would say its closer to early May than anything. Which in my opinion, is not very crowded. probably a 5 on most crowd predictions sites.

Fridays and Saturdays are always busy at the festival no matter what weekend it is. Sunday you may see an influx due to the marathoners (who won't affect any park besides Epcot). Monday won't be crowded at epcot although it will be at MK if there is no party.

DITTO!! :thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

I've been the last two years and it was spring break level crowds. Epcot and MK were the worst.

The W&D Half marathon brings in over 12K runner--this does not include family and friends.

We leave tomorrow and will be in WDW through Friday. We are planning F&WF for Monday first part of day, all day Tuesday, Wednesday evening and Thursday afternoon/evening leaving park between 6-7 I guess).
So, it's the last week, but I'm hoping it won't be too bad. We bought the VIP package so maybe that will help as far as eating etc. LOL

Did you not read what I said?

I was never arguing that it would be as crowded as the holidays are. I was merely saying that the crowds that week have grown each year for the last two or three years. And lots of people will go that week assuming it's still "low crowd" season and it most definitely isn't.
