TYTY just looked up the port schedule for 11/09/04, the day we are in Grand Cayman island. There are four other ships in port with us that day- does that make for a crowded island? Does it affect shore excursion availability?

It doesn't affect excursions booked thru DCL as Disney buys out and entire vehicle or cluster of vehicles for each excursion. It might affect your ability to book privately.

As the ships tender at Grand Cayman, it really doesn't change anything....DCL has already booked their tenders, and will have plenty.

Yes, the island may seem crowded...that's common on land days.

We're just off the 2-12 Wonder and there were a total of 6 ships docked in Nassau! The Disney Wonder, Carnival Fantasy, Explorer of the Seas, Seven Seas Navigator, Volendam, and Celebrity Century.
The crowds were, surprisingly, not that bad. There were a LOT of people in town and at Atlantis but I had expected it to be much worse.
