Crowded in late April?

We're planning a trip for late April (into May) this year. After looking at crowd calenders this seemed to be a good time to go - but after reading some threads here it seems like everyone is going late April. Is it going to be really crowded???

We went in Nov 2005 and the parks were practically empty (well, not quite, but it was like visiting our hometown theme park)

I think April/May is a good time to go. We have been alot the past 3 years and I think the crowds are heavier this past year. Maybe the millions dream thing or just more advertising. crowds are apart of Disney. We never have a big deal with crowds. We go to the parks when the gates open. We take a break in the afternoon when crowds are heavy and then we head back till closing.

That's been our approach too. We also head for the back of the park right away - most people seem to stop at the first ride they come to. My kids love taking a noon break to head back to the resort for some pool time. Then they seem to enjoy the evening so much more.
