We've only been in the off season. Going June 18th this year and am preparing for the worst as far as crows go. Any tips or helpful hits to help us get thru??

There's loads of tips to beat the crowds available at TourGuide Mike's website. Go to http://www.tourguidemike.com and sign up. There's a promo going on for the next five days. Use code A8ZD7-2AH at checkout and you'll get $5 off the subscription rate. Worth every penny considering the amount of money you're spending for your vacation.

If you've only been to WDW off season you will be unpleasantly surprised at the number of people there. Following TGMike's advice, you won't be bothered them one bit. There's also a forum there with very helpful people, many of whom also post here. BTW, I'm just a very satisfied subscriber.

Have a great trip.

Go early and beat the heat and crowds. If you go to a water park, go when they open or around 2-3, when the crowds thin out. If you're at a park during the heat of the day, bring your own water. We bought the Brita water bottles at Wal-Mart that have their own filter. Fill it full of ice from the resort and it will melt after a couple of hours.

Grab Fast Passes and then go find some inside attraction or store to stay out of the heat.

Last year, they had e-ride nights that you had to pay for but this year, it's part of EMH, so the night time crowds will be greater.

If you're going to be at a park near dinner time, make sure you have a PS. Many times, walk ups will get turned away.

Go early and use Fastpass whenever possible. But plan your Fastpasses accordingly, since you can only have one Fastpass issued to you for a certain amount of time before another will be issued to you.

We found that we were able to accomplish quite a bit in the first few hours after a park opened up. Even if we weren't there right at opening, we still got a lot done by 1 pm.

We found that a park had less people the morning after its evening EMH. We went to MGM on a Monday morning, after Star Wars weekend and EMH on Sunday night, and we walked on practically everything until about 2 pm. Playhouse Disney's first showing at 10 am was only half full and dh was able to walk on RoR. There was also NO lines to see Sorcerer Mickey and other characters, such as JoJo and Goliath. Meanwhile, parks are usually packed for evening EMH, but if you go in the afternoon of an evening EMH, it is usually not that packed, since most people may be resting to prepare for their late night.

HTH!

Linda
