Anyone have any ideas of what crowd levels are like the end of Feb. beginning of March? We are taking our DD for her first trip and I want to make sure we can maximize her fun! I saw that it is peak season but I was assuming it was because of colleges? TIA!!

If you go to ***************** you can find out the crowd index. They only publish the times for up to the month. They may have the beginning of March listed now. If you have an the Unofficial Guide to WDW, then you can go on the touring website and see the crowd index for a the year.

If you use the search feature on the Disboards and type in end of Febuary/early March crowds, I'm sure you will see others who have posted before.

Also, I look at the hours for each park. Generally, when the parks are more crowded, they stay open longer. Less people, earlier hours.

Finally, I look at the type of season value versus magic season. This also indicates how crowded it will be.

Now, none of these are exact sciences, but they do give you a general idea.

I have never been to WDW in Feb. but I did go in March when I was in college and it was full of Spring Breakers. Now, a lot of college kids stay off property due to cost issues. Most were fine no problems - not loud or obnoxious. So the parks will be slightly more crowded. They will be nothing like February president's week, Easter week or Christmas. HTH.

We went the beginning of March two years in a row and never had serious crowd issues. (Especially since we were used to summer traffic before that!) I will say that with Easter being in March is year, it seems like a lot of elementary/secondary schools are having their Spring Breaks earlier. However, I would think the first week in March still shouldn't be all that bad. As PP said, not like MLK weekend, or Easter Week itself. I wouldn't stress out about it. Getting to the parks for opening and utilizing FP should help you cut your wait times to the minimum. Have a great trip!

Sorry, I forgot that I couldn't post websites. So I will spell it out using star spacers between each letter. When typing it, take out the stars. T*O*U*R*I*N*G*P*L*A*N*S dot C*O*M. Again just take out all the stars and put in the dot and you should get it.
