Crowd Predictor for US? Nov. 11 or 15?

I planned our trip on for Mon. 11/15 thinking I would miss the veteran day weekend and Jersey week crowds. Now that US is offering the HP Premier Celebration 11/11 - 11/13 (with check in/out dates of 11/9 -11/16) it most likely will be packed. Here are my options: go 11/15 using Dreams transportation from WDW or go 11/11 but stay on-site. I could also purchase the HP package from a partner resort for 11/11 that gives early access but not FOTL. Any advice on which option I should pick and why? Thanks.

I would go on Friday the 15th. Your second sentence is why--it will likely be very busy Monday-Wednesday.

Thanks Mesaboy, but my choices are Friday 11/11 onsite or Friday 11/11 preferred resort hotel w/HP Package for 1 nt, or Monday 11/14 using dreams (not 15th) - which are your recommending? The HP Celebration will be Friday 11/11 - Sunday 11/13. I know you can't compare WDW with US, but the WDW overall crowd predictor shows 11/11 as a "7", 11/12 as a "8" and 11/14 as a "3". It's possible if I rearrange our WDW plan we could go Tuesday 11/15, which might be least crowded but its also our last day. ... trying to decide.

stay onsite if you are able

you'll have very little to walk to get to the park, avoid the off site shuttles.

Whoops, I misread you're original question. Thought you were asking Monday the 11th or Friday the 15th, and it's now obvious to me those aren't when those days fall this year.

Hmm. I would either do the onsite on the 11th or Dreams on the 14th. I would not disagree with macraven--the onsite has definite advantages. In this case, though, I don't know if it'll be enough to offset the increased crowds for the HP celebration. Tough call.

Only thing I can say with relative certainty is that the preferred hotel option on the 11th is the least attractive. While you could do early entry, this approach would not get you Express privileges and you'd still have the HP hard-cores to deal with.

Thanks, and also to you macraven or your replies. Mesaboy2, I was reading a thread on MVMCP and see that you attended last year in November on a Sunday? How crowded was it? I'm trying to plan each park day at an optimum time, so if we attend the MVMCP on Sunday 11/13, that would free up Tuesday 11/15 to go US - which I believe will be the least crowded of my dates ... Originally I was planning my trip based on WDW crowds, but the HP Celebration has put a bee in my bonnet...Now I have to choose between on-site with crowds (at extra expense + extra night)or possibly less crowded on Tuesay but no on-site :confused3. What to do?

So you're following me in one of those black helicopters I keep seeing? ;)

Actually, my little iPhone here tells me I went on a Friday, November 12. I don't remember it being particularly crowded, except at the parades. We did the second one in Frontierland and were able to sit down about 20 minutes before start with a front curb seat. There are better qualified MVMCP experts than I, but I think general wisdom is that a Sunday or Tuesday in November should be moderate crowds at worst.
