We're going to US/IOA next month and will be staying onsite for part of our trip. My question is about the one day that we'll be at IOA and not onsite. We arrive on a Sat evening and plan to do IOA on Sunday, Nov. 17th, without express pass. I was wondering if the crowds will be manageable or if we'll need a plan of the less busy rides. We don't need to do everything in one day since we have many days. (We're heading to Legoland the next day and then we'll have 5 more days for IOA/US with onsite). But since that's out first day, we want to make sure the trip starts out really fun too! Our kids are ages 4, 7, and 10 and so we can skip the biggest rides that day.

Crowds won't be too bad that time of year and Sunday is usually a slower day for IOA. Get there early and do as much as you can/want that day.

Great! I had picked IOA over US since I thought somewhere in my brain was that IOA was less crowded on Sundays than IOA. Plus, my kids like IOA better. But then I was thinking that it's a weekend day so I started second-guessing. This is our first time without much of a plan so it's a little unnerving!
