And here's why we love going the first week of December. This is the Tower of Terror lobby mid morning:

A family that I know just got back and said the crowds were great except for Sunday the day before MLK.....The mom said it got pretty crowded that day...which I told her was to be expected....but she said up to that day it was great

Those 3rd of January 2009 crowds were no joke. The line ups for everything were unbelievably long. This was our first visit to Magic Kingdom, luckily we knew we would be returning over the few days. I remember CMs had to break the line for the Haunted Mansion into two parts, so traffic could keep flowing through. It was about a 2 hr wait for Splash Mountain also. The 2nd of Jan at Animal Kingdom was just as bad.

Do you know what date that is? We're going to be in WDW from 11/28-12/5. I'd love to see more pictures of crowds on those dates.

Wow!! Seeing all of these pictures makes me soooo glad that I took the kids out of school to go at slower times of the year whe they were younger. DS is now in 7th grade, so taking him out of school is not an option for US...so this year we are going over spring break and I am a bit nervous
Anyone with children in grade school or younger, think about doing it. I struggled with the decision at the time, but now, looking back, I am so glad we did it!

Love all the pictures, we are off to disney April 25th - May 3rd and I can't wait! Looks like a not so bad time of year either...YAY

This was Dec. 5 or 6 I think, a couple of years ago. We've gone the week you are going a couple of times - the crowds are not bad at all, and get progressively lighter the further away from Tgiving you get.

This was Dec. 5 or 6 I think, a couple of years ago.

Those pictures reflect our experience "a couple of years ago." But that is not what we experienced last year.

If you really want to be prepared, get some info from people who were there last year.

These aren't the best pics and I only had a couple that showed any sort of crowd shots. We went last year for Spring Break for a few days. It was April 6-8 I believe. DHS wasn't bad at all! We walked on to TT at around 10:00. The pics are around 2:00 though. MK was pretty crowded! AK was packed! Wish I had some crowd pics of those for y'all.

JoBird- I had asked for Halloween week. Thank you for posting pictures. Wow- more crowded than I thought. We are from Jersey and went Jersey week last year. I thought the crowds were very manageable until our last day which was Friday. We are going Halloween week because we were offered a discount. That's probably why that time of year has picked up. thanks again.

We had wonderful crowds for our May 27-June 2, 2008 trip and even better crowds for our Decemer 3-10 trip!!

In that June pic I about croaked over, I have to wonder if something hadn't just finished up (like a parade) b/c almost every single person is headed towards the castle. Hardly anyone is even looking the other direction.
