Crowd Outlook

That just isn't true, they have been transparent with their numbers especially the parks. People just tend to say that they are hiding things or not reporting what they should be. Essentially, because it doesn't fit a narrative they must be wrong/ lying.

Omitting information could also be taken as defrauding investors and Disney could/ would be sued so i doubt they're doing what you think they're doing
gonna be honest with you, i dont care enough to go look for data and back up my source. its a discussion about a theme park.

but i think (again this is based of my memory, which can be bad) that disney has said in the past, that while per guest spending is up, attendance was down.

Not saying that you have to find a source, i was just pointing out that Disney would not make up data out of thin air, and also would not omit information to make themselves look better then they were actually doing.

I agree that Disney has said that in the past about spending up foot traffic down, i just take issue with people using that one line to set themselves up to say whatever they want because they have outlined one comment to be true.

Just a single data point but EPCOT and MK seemed very very busy yesterday. I've been to F&W 2 or 3 times prior to this and this was the first time every single kiosk seemed to have a decent line. I assume the long weekend for some helped.

i'm not saying they makeup data out of thin air either.

Touring plans was within striking distance of where they thought crowds would be. Columbus day is typically a busy holiday weekend/ week

Your comment implied that Disney was either hiding or omitting data. i don't know how else i could read it without coming to that conclusion
this comment?
i cant believe they are at a 21 year low. but i would believe they are lower than they have been before. Inflation is one thing that is pinching everyone's pockets, but disney vacations have outpaced inflation for years, and many of us who went multiple times per year, can no longer justify that and have cut back.

I know you're a data guy and have to have that information to justify it, but i can tell you from those around me and on here, i hear less and less talk of people going to wdw than i have in the past 10 years or so.
not sure how....but ok

It was this one, i must be misinterpreting what you're saying.
i was talking about theme park attendance numbers. disney doesnt report those.

sure we get numbers from other sources, and they are probably more than likely pretty accurate, but the only one that has the real numbers, is disney; and they dont release that information.

thats all i was saying.

Nobody is disputing that. The dispute is that the outlook into next year from that same site is the lowest in 21 years.
I have no idea how anybody could make that assertion, also why are they going back 21 years when the lowest attendance for the last 21 years was 3 years ago? It makes less then 0 sense. The fallacy would make more sense by saying that outlooks looked to be worse than 2020, not 2002.

got cha, i thought we were talking hotel room occupancy which they do provide data on

What site? Please provide a link to a legit news or travel site. Or are you talking about anonymous posts on that other discussion group, again?

It's from that same site that said G+ was at its highest price.

OK, I give up...I asked for a legit news site and you give an anonymous post. We now fully understand that your data and support is made up out of thin air.
That's the same site that posted about Genie+. We can dismiss that too since that's not from a legit news site.
