Hey all we are heading down to Universal Studios the week of December 16th, we are staying at the Hard Rock but I was wondering if anyone can tell me what the crowd levels will be like. We will be able to use the Fast Pass by staying on-site but we have several family members that have chosen to stay off-site and I am curious what they will be facing crowd wise at the park. Thanks in advance for your answers.......:thumbsup2

We were at RPR last Dec.14-18th and it was great! The crowds were low, the weather perfect and the decorations were beautiful. Have a great time!

We stayed at Disney last Dec, and went to Universal. The crowds were low, and we had no problems doing whatever we wanted with short waits. This was the 16th - 22nd.

GREAT! I'm also going at this time (actually we're staying at All Star Sports at WDW and going on the 15th to IoA and on the 19th or 20th to US) and its great to know that crowds aren't very big! Last time I was in orlando, my DSis and I got to ride DD 8 times in a row going from Fire to Ice and all over again due to low crowds in October. Not sure if in December it will be anything like it, but nice to know there shouldn't be hour-long lines waiting for us!

We were there from 7th to 27th December last year and spend a day at each of the Universal parks I think around 15th. The parksfelt like they were desserted. I had bought the fast passes in advance expecting crowds so wasted over $100 for the 2 days and didn't use them once. AT IOA there was literally no one else on Spiderman, both water rides, cat in the hat. Just a small queue for the big roller coasters. Also no waits as US. The weather was glorious. Back again the same time this year and definitely will not be buying the fast Passes. I think you can still use them if staying on site but you probbaly wont need to.

My family and I are also going the week before Christmas.
Everyone talking about the wonderful weather so does that mean shorts and tanks or capris and polos?

wonderful weather at this time means between high 50's and low 70's I believe, so I don't think shorts are the best choice.

it isn't hot, but it isn't really cold either, simply nice weather probably a bit colder in the evening.
