Crowd Levels on Special Event Days

So let’s talk crowd levels, specifically at MK.

Is the park usually MORE crowded all day on special ticketed events? Or is it usually less crowded with an increase in crowds near the end of the day?

I’m seeing conflicting reports on different site’s crowd calendars.

We’re planning a short Nov trip and trying to make the best out of MK days during MVMCP events (we don’t plan to attend MVMCP).

Traditionally, YES, the park is less crowded on MVMCP days. People see the 6:00 p.m. closure and don't want to "waste" a ticket on a short day.
However, that is becoming more common knowledge, so I expect the crowd levels have gone up on those days from where they were even two years ago.
Still, those days will be less crowded than a day without MVMCP. The days without a party are extra crowded, because there is almost always only ONE or TWO such days during a guest's entire trip. They want to see HEA and they want a longer day at MK, so everyone ends up at MK on the same one or two days.
