crowd levels--1st of June v. Christmas-New Years

Could anyone give me an idea of the difference in crowds between the first two weeks of June and the weeks after Christmas? Would June crowd levels be closer to the first week of January? If anyone shed some light on my questions, I would really appreciate it since this is our first year going in June (We usually go down 12/27 and leave around 1/5). Thanks

Well I have not been to Disney around xmas or new years, so I cannot compare the two. I have heard a lot of horror stories around xmas time for crowds and many great stories about the lack of crowds after New Years. I went to Disney last June from the 6-14. I was pleased with the crowds. The worst park for lines was AK while we were there. MK had lines, but they weren't too bad. I was accustomed to waiting for over an hour for Splash Mountain but on that trip we only waited about 20 min. I thought that it was a great time to go, although there was rain

Like the last post I have not been to Disney at Christmas or New Year's, but I have heard from other people and read elsewhere that it is really crowded at that time. As a matter of fact, Christmas is one of the most crowded times of the year.

We have been during the first two weeks of June and are going again this June(June 2-15). I have not found this time to be to bad. It is not quite as hot as late summer and the crowds are generally not as bad. Most of the kids are not out of school until the middle of June so this helps out a bit.

Even though I want to go to Disney at Christmas time, if you are trying to decide between the two I would say June.
