Hi, first I wanted to wish every one a happy Holiday Season!

Am I correct to assume that the crowd levels will be a level 10 all week since we are going the week after 4th of July??

My fiancé and I are going for our honeymoon and trying to figure out the best way to plan our trip. She hasn't been to WDW since she was 2 and I haven't gone since I was 15. Needless to say we are both very inexperience when it comes to planning a trip to WDW lol. Any and all tips, advice or opinions are welcome!

TIA!:worship: :worship:

The calendars may not list them as 10s, but 8-9 for sure.. and it's in the bulk of summer. Not only is it going to be crowded, it's going to be very hot everyday. Even if you're used to FL summers, it's asphalt and sweaty people everywhere.

Take advantage of early mornings and late nights. Find a good indoor lunch and/or even head back to the hotel during the peak of the day (Noon-4p).

It won't be 10's. It'll be more like 8's. Still really busy, but much more manageable than Christmastime.

My advice would be to take a look at the crowd calendar at easywdw.com It's a great tool for planning what park to visit on which day. The calendar for this coming July should be up any day now.

It's going to be hot hot hot. Get out early in the morning and try to get lots of stuff done before the killer heat of midday. Then the storms come rolling in daily in the afternoons, along with lightning. Usually they ease up and you can go back out at some point.

My other summer tip is that World Showcase is quite possibly the hottest place on earth in the summer in the afternoon ;) So plan to tour that at night. Animal Kingdom is hot too, so plan that for the early morning. For some reason, MK isn't as bad as the other parks (lots of things to go into).

Some people find Frogg Toggs cooling towels can help.

Drink lots of water obviously!

A great weather app is Dark Sky if you have an iPhone. I think it costs a few bucks but it has been invaluable to us as far as dodging storms and knowing when we can go back out.

Happy planning :goodvibes

ArwenMarie - thank you for the tip mentioning Dark Sky! I never heard of it before. I will load it for our next trip. It sounds like an app I will really use! :thumbsup2
