For those of you who have kept up with people's reports on the levels of crowding in the parks:

In the next 12 months, when do you think that crowds will be at their very lowest? I have read reports that there has not been a"slow season" this calendar year thus far.

Thanks in advance for your input!

With conventions, sports competitions and cheer competitions, back up an running you don’t need to worry about a “slow season” as there isn’t one. As such, personally I just look to avoid major holidays (Xmas/New Years) and Marathon weekends.

I think crowds will probably be the lowest in September after Labor Day. I don't expect crowds like last year where Space Mountain was a 5 minute wait in the middle of the day on a late September weekday but that usually isn't a time when as many people take vacations with it being the beginning of the school year.

I agree with after Labor Day. I was just there 4/25-28 and found crowds to be low (based on my experiences over the past year or so). We were able to use Genie+ and ILL to do everything we wanted to do.

Note: crowds were non-existent in MK during the extra evening hours. Everything we got in line for was a 5 minute wait or less. Most were walk ons.

There's a clear difference with mid-week. Even after the marathon, the crowd thinned on Tuesday. I planned my summer trip to be Tues-Thurs.

I'd do that trip again, of course, avoiding MLK. January mid-week was lovely.

I agree. Disney has figured out over the years which times of the year tend to be slowest and added in those various special events to help fill otherwise empty rooms. I don't think anyone has a good enough crystal ball to project for the next year. Major holidays would seem to be peak times for attendance. We went in early May back in 2019 and even during the week some of the parks were wall-to-wall people making it hard to simply move around.

Over the years attendance has grown at all of the parks and the narrow walkways have never been updated to handle the extra crowds. With so many people, that is also the reason you see numerous threads talking about long wait times for rides. I would expect it to be crowded whenever you go.

I'm not there but based on recent wait times and Genie+ availability, right now seems like a good time to be there. Post spring break but before schools start letting out for summer.

I was there last week, and I didn't think it was terrible. The only place that felt more crowded than I was expecting was the world showcase and I'm not sure if that's because the front half of epcot is such a mess that people gravitated to the back half earlier than normal.

I think it’s a new dynamic due to RAT.
