Crowd level 2, most recommended Epcot or least recommended AK?

Hi! We will have a 4yo and a 2yo. Already have 2 MK days and a HS day planned out but on our AK day, according to EasyWDW, it is the least recommended park. Epcot is the most recommended. We were debating between Epcot and AK anyway, so I'm wondering if this makes the choice for us? Unfortunately, we have to miss one of the parks this trip, but we will be back many times! Should we do Epcot (most recommended) or AK (least recommended) on a crowd level 2 day? Thanks!

With a level of 2, you could do anything you want! Lol! I'd go with AK this time and save EP for when they are older.

I tend to disagree with PP. Here's why:

When crowds are expected to be heavy (7-10), it's going to be crowded no matter where you go. In this scenario you go to the most recommended park to get the least amount of crowds you can.

When crowds are expected to be low (1-3), the least recommended park will actually feel much more crowded than the predicted level because everyone is there. In your case, if you go to EP, everything will be almost walk-on. If you go to AK, you'll have waits on almost everything. They won't be high-season type waits, but you will stand in line more than you will at the most recommended park.

Based upon the crowd levels I would pick which park most appeals to you. Both will be great! Epcot is our all time favorite park, Animal Kingdom our least. But honestly both parks are great. ANd we have been taking our babies since 18 months. A few years ago we were traveling thru Orlando and kids had to pick just one park to see for a day. They picked EPcot over MK. Your kids will love whatever you showcase to them. Epcot has great things to do for little ones, without the big rides and is wonderful for the parents. Animal kingdom has animals. YOu are in a win-win situation no matter what.

I would go to AK because there just isn't much for small children to do at Epcot anymore. Epcot used to be great for small children.

I'm not familiar with EasyWDW - can you drill down the park itself? I know you can do that with other sites. If you can, I would take a look at that. I would also expect at a 2 overall, it wouldn't be too high at AK, but you never know.

Something else to consider is the tempetures while there. If it's going to be hot I would choose Epcot over AK which can get very hot. Seems to me more AC is available in Epcot.

We don't care for AK at all while Epcot is our favorite. But we are 2 adults w/o kids big difference.
