Crowd calendar?

We will be at WDW the weekend of April 21st for the Star Wars races. I am wondering how the crowds will be the week before? I know school vacations are in April. We are planning on being there the week before the race.

I can't find the crowd calendar that also shows which days are better for which park that I've seen in the past. Does anyone have a link, or information about that week?

Thanks!

Disney crowds are impossible to predict anymore. Too many variables like promotions, free dining, marathons, special events, holidays, vacations etc. that cause crowds to swell. Just go expecting it to be a 9 or 10 and be happy if it's less.

The calendars just have no way of being accurate anymore.

Kenny the Pirate's calendars include the best and worst parks on any given day, but I don't think they're posted that far out yet.

The thing that might help you a bit is that Easter is 4/1 next year, and many schools have spring break either the week before or after Easter.

As everyone said every day is a brand new experience at this point.

I think instead of looking at specific crowd calendars I'm more back to looking at the best weeks over a year time period. Broader idea. Mainly just to get cost, overall crowd, special events.

But to answer your question. Kennys, undercover tourist, touring plans, dads blog, still do calendars.

Josh at easywdw stopped doing them if that shows you just how unreliable they have become. He was my favorite. Here is the one from April of this year.

After this trip I am waiting until 2021 to go back. I hope we have a better understanding with some structure by then. Lol.

did he stop again? The best part of his calendars was his list of things going on that are influencing his numbers. That list really helped to know what to expect from the crowd as far as behavior and ramming you with strollers instead of saying excuse me..

The last one was for April 2017. Those were coming out really late but still happening. There wasn't one for May or June.

Thanks. We have decided on the week of 19th - the week before the Star Wars races due to that is the week of my son's vacation week.

As people have said, it is hard to predict based on all the above quoted reasons. April can be the toughest comparison as well, based on the timing of Easter in any given year. Looking ahead through a resource I have access to, predictions so far say you are in the overall WDW range of 4-6 (out of 10) crowds, but even that can be overwhelming if not prepared - proper prior planning prevents ___ poor performance. Even the most crowded days are wonderful if well planned and loosely managed!
