Crowd Calendar Accuracy/Differences?

Does anyone have a preference as to Touring Plans or Undercover Tourist for a crowd calendar?

I will use the touring plans crowd calendars as a guide, since they have so much research and data behind their calculations. They can't be perfect all the time, because there are always factors out of their control - weather, rides being down, etc. But they are darned close with the vast majority of their predictions, and they post on their crowd calendar how accurate they were on the day before. It's pretty impressive. I don't have any idea what methods other sites use, and I'm not putting them down. I just like that I know what Touring Plans' methodology is and that it isn't just guesses or repeats from last year.

I've looked at both and on one of my days there is just no way MK can be green like Undercover Tourist predicts (It's a holiday weekend).

I think you will find most people on here don't put much faith in the calendars anymore. I do look at them, but don't put all of my trust in them myself. At the very least I try to stay away from EMH days because we don't get hoppers and from what I can tell EMH draws in more people, which will make that park busier.

I look at both (and others too), but I use Touring Plans for planning purposes. The main reason is they invest in measuring and crunching numbers which I think is a superior methodology (I am an engineer). The other reason is I already use their site to plan out my order of attractions. Its certainly not 100% accurate, but it does give me an indication of how long a wait would be at various times of the day.
