Crowd and Heat report!

Hi everyone--

I'm coming to you live from Walt Disney World-- I arrived earlier today! This is my third time to Disney in August in the last few years, and I am absolutely *shocked* by the number of people here this year! I went to the Magic Kingdom, and you could barely move there were so many people-- there was nowhere to sit, and all of the rides had riduculous waits. I went and checked, and it is not EMH day or anything for Magic Kingdom-- all of the "seasonal" attractions are open as well. I came back to the resort and went to the pool .

Also (as to be expected), the heat is absolutely unbearable-- I do not sweat often, but you would have thought I had gone swimming in my clothes! (of course, there's a thunderstorm right now-- maybe I should go back to MK after it stops ...

PS-- this new girl that replaced that annoying Samantha Brown wanna-be on the top 10 countdown on the TV is about 100 times more annoying than the last one!

Good point . I actually don't mind the crowds-- this is supposed to be a relaxing vacation for me, so I plan on spending a lot of pool time-- I do hope to get to some of the new attractions, though!!

Wow--more annoying than the last one? That'll take some time for me to get my head around...

Drink lots of water and use a squeeze breeze fan! That's what we did last week (I'm missing it already but the heat here is very similar to there)
I agree that girl on the top seven channel is extremely annoying.....bring back Chrissa.

Maybe it is just everyone getting that last trip in before going back to school....

Maybe it is just me trying to be optimistic about my September trip
