Cropper Hopper

What kind of "containers" does everyone use when you go to a crop? I'm trying to get one of these so that I can take it with me (hopefully to CKC in Valley Forge and Hartford). I'm not really sure what kind to get or what I might really need. Can anyone give me some pointers?

I have decided that I would rather spend my $$ on items to scrap with rather than items to cary my scrap stuff. I do have a Creative Memories rolling carrier for my paper but I just use small tote bags for my other stuff. I even have a small duffle bag that just happened to fit my small cricut perfectly.

For CKC I just bring a canvas tote bag (think LLBean) that I had bought at Valley Forge and an Iris case from Michael's. And my tote for my tools.

for my regular crop, I have the Chatterbox rolling tote, looks like a vintage suit case. And the canvas bag and the tool bag.

Are you planning on going to the one in Hartford this year?

I live 15 minutes from Valley Forge (my office is on the same street) and My family is in CT. I'll probably due both this year. I'll go to the Hartford one with BFF and my goddaughter. She can go on Friday since it is Berlin Fair weekend and she gets the day off.

I have several of the Cropper Hopper Memorabilia binders, I have one for Christmas stuff and it holds papers, embellishments and pictures, a Halloween one and 2 disney ones. I like them because you can just grab one or two on your way out depending on what you want to work on.

Yep, I've already been scouting the class lists for the other conventions. I think I'll stay over too, it's only a 45 minute drive but I hate driving into Hartford. I'm just going to have DH drop me off.

Thanks 4greatboys! I really need to organize my stuff. I am only partially organized right now. I tend to make page kits and bring them with me, but I usually don't finish a page completely because I want to add something to it. If I had better organization and was able to bring more stuff with me, then I would have more truely completed pages.

I went to St. Joe's for a year and took a class at U of H one semester. I absolutely hated travelling between the two. At least DM is only in Berlin so I don't need to stay over at the convention. I may come in early and do the Thursday album crop.

If you need to go up or down in this state you are ok but if you need to go across forget it! I don't think I can make the Thursday crop since school is in session (DH would never be able to handle it) but I would like to be there Friday night to Sunday.

What classes are you looking at taking?
