The croissant sounds better to me. While I love baguettes, they’re generally hard and seems like that wouldn’t go well with a delicate poached egg?

Hmmm...maybe. But I love a good croissant breakfast sandwich. I suppose it depends if they toast the croissant a bit when they make it.
