Are Crocs really that comfortable to wear all day?? We make sure that we pack the MOST comfortable athletic shoes that we have. What about when your feet get sweaty dont the Crocs become uncomfortable then? :confused3

I love my crocs :)

but I wear my athletic shoes for walking, especially at the parks all day :)

My crocs are used as sandles at the beach, slippers in my home, running to the store. I do like my crocs for the airplane too, for slipping on and off.

Im one of the ones who like to wear socks with my crocs

I LOVE crocs, however I wear the flip flop style! We just got back from a week at Disney and I had on my croc flops EVERY day! I never even wore my sneakers! I didn't have a problem with sweaty feet, so I can't answer that question, but as far as comfort, they are FANTASTIC!

thanks answering. I also wear my Crocs out for quick trips, although I did wear them to DTD this past spring just as a test run. I could keep athletic shoes in our bag just in case, but if 2 or 3 of us keep extra shoes in the backpack wouldnt have room for other things that may be more important(passporter, bottled drinks, etc.)
Didnt mean to gross anybody out about sweaty feet:lmao: but its still warm in Fla. in March and when we are at the parks 12+ hours. I also wear socks with my Crocs but only when the temp. drops below 50

I alternated from Crocs and Adidas ClimaCool tennis shoes. They were wonderful. I got off the raft ride at AK with drenched shoes and socks and they were completely dry w/i 30 min (tops). I highly recommend them. (they are cheap too). I wore they until they wore out.

I wear socks with mine too. i don't care how dumb I look. :P at least i don't have blisters...nyah!

I think I wore crocs for the entirety of my last DLR trip and had no problems whatsoever...even when it was 90 degrees out. Love 'em, love 'em, love 'em!

Did I mention I love 'em? (I think I'm up to 15 pairs now...I need to go to Croc'ers anonymous)

Also-they just came out with markers and puffpaints you can decorate your crocs with... and it washes off with water so you can change them whenever you like. ;)

do you get several colors of the same shoe?? all I have is the slides and off roads(love them)

YES!!!!!!!!! Love my crocs. My kids don't want to wear their tennis shoes anymore. I wore my crocs all day at the parks, and my feet were fine. I love them! Try them at home, maybe go shopping in them, and you will see how comfy they are. Not the prettiest things, buy they are comfortable!!!!:goodvibes

Nope, I have:
(2)Beach
(2)cayman
(1)Disney
(2)Hallmark Audrey
(2)Alice
(2)Mary jane
(1)the new ones with fur inside
(1)the ones with the criss-cross over the front
(1)the kind with no holes (can't remember some names. ahh!!)

Oops. maybe it's 14. ;) Anyway though, the only ones I don't wear socks with are the Audrey's and the Alice's. The rest are awesome with socks. I wore my beach ones to DLR and had no problems. The bottoms are a bit worn off now, but it doesn't matter to me. They're still just as comfy as they ever were!

Part of the reason I have so many is that I'm not allowed to wear athletic shoes of any type where I teach and I needed something comfortable that would go along with anything I have.

Some I have doubles of.

*edited to add* after looking in my closet, I had forgotten the Chicago Cubs logo pair. ;P I was right the first time. 15. ;P

I tried to wear them in the parks all day but after one day I had a blister on the top of my foot from it rubbing all day. Luckily I brought a pair of tenies too. If I wasn't going to be walking all day they would be great. They are comfy and they don't make my feet sweat, but they aren't great for continous walking.

thanks to all who have responded:thumbsup2 ,I think Not So Dumbos response is what I was looking for. That's what happened to me the day that I wore mine to DTD,the rubbing the top off the foot. After reading everyone of the replies I guess I will pick which park would be best to try to wear my Crocs. I'm really not that much of a weinie but I do have to think comfort first and how my shoe choice could affect the rest of our stay.:thanks: :donald:

I think the big key to all day croc-wear at Disney is "heavy break-in". When I first purchased my crocs I did get some sores on the top and side of my foot from rubbing, but I kept wearing them and now they are thouroughly broken in and perhaps THE most comfortable pair of shoes I own. I would say that if you want to buy a pair to wear in Disney, buy them well in advance (maybe 2-3 months) and break em in! And remember they are not supposed to fit like regular shoes. I don't know if this has been posted before, but this is from the Crocs site.

The Perfect Crocs™ Fit

Crocs™ should not fit like other shoes:

They should fit very loosely.
The sides of your foot should not really touch the sides of the shoe.
Your toes should never make contact with the front of the shoe.
Once you have centered your foot on the foot-bed:
You should have about a 1/4 to 1/2 inch of space in front of your toes, behind your heel and when you lift the strap you should be able to comfortably get your finger between the strap and heel.
In other words the fit should be "loose".
I know that this goes against everything that you have ever been used to in a shoe, but these are the parameters that the shoe was designed to be worn under.
No Pressure points Ever!
To ensure that the strap is not pulling your foot into the front of the shoe, rotate the strap forward and determine if your foot rests comfortably in the foot bed and there is room all around your foot. If so, you have the proper size but the strap is too short. To alleviate this issue, work your fingers around the strap and stretch it as you go around being careful not to put excessive pressure on the rivet hole. Stretch the strap until it is just short of the back edge of the shoe. The resin material has memory and will stay at the proper length after one or two of these types of adjustments.

Love my crocs. I have several pairs. I wear the kind without the holes all day every day at work. Comfy. I have the pink Mickey ones that I wear at home for slippers.
I wear socks with my crocs so no sweat problems.
The only problem I have had was when the get so broken in that they no longer have the tread on the bottom. I have taken a couple of wicked falls, very lucky once not to have broken something when I slipped on granite steps coming out of the UMASS graduation in the rain. I went flying. I will not wear crocs without tread in the rain. I was sore for a couple of weeks.

I love my Crocs if I'm going to be standing on my feet all day but not if I'm doing a lot of walking. I need more ankle support and Crocs have none. I tried them on our last wdw trip and my calves and ankles were so swollen on our last day they looked like tree trunks, and I normally have SKINNY ankles! I'll stick with my Nikes for park walking from now on.

I have plantar fasciitis in both heels and on our May trip last year by the end of day 2 the pain was so bad I could hardly walk. I had heard a lot of good things about crocs but had vowed I wouldn't be caught dead in those ugly rubber clown shoes. The next morning I figured I had nothing to lose so I bought a pair and sure enough my heels were fine for the rest of the trip. Since then I swear by them and won't go to WDW without them.

I have worn my crocs on two trips now - the first in May for 21 days and the second in October for 10 days - in October the only thing I took was a pair of crocs. They are the comfiest footwear for long walking.

This last trip I bought a pair for my hubby who usually wears trainers and complains his legs ache - someone stopped him in the park after about 8 days of wearing them and asked if they were comfortable and he said with a wry smile "I wouldn't wear them in real life but at Disney my wife is right they are more comfortable than trainers!"

I promise you I have terrible foot pain from arthritis and previous surgeries. I live in my crocs at WDW and at home. They feel the best on my feet. If it is raining than I might wear my new balance tennis shoes. You might want to remember to use body glide no matter what shoes you have on.

As my DH raved about his pair of Crocs he bought in May I thought I'd give them a whirl too and bought a pair of Crocs to take with us for our October trip. I did break them during our walks prior to our trip, however after wearing them all day and most of the evening our first day in Orlando, my left foot/ankle was extremely sore by the end of the evening. I ended up having to buy an ankle brace and switch to wearing my running shoes for the remainder of our trip.
