Ok I keep hearing all of these wonderful things about "crocs". I am still convinced as they look really ugly (the only place I have seen them is John Lewis and that was not the full range)

What I wanted to know is are they really worth the price tag?

Can you buy them in Prime or Premium Outlets, Walmark, Publix or the Florida Mall (if so which shop)

Also does anybody know how much they are compared to over here

Thanks

:confused3 :confused3 :confused3

Yes they are worth it. SO comfy & at 45 I've never been so trendy!

I got my first pair last year & paid £29.99 & I've nearly worn them out.

Got my 2nd pair this February from Las Vegas & paid approx £16. i should think they'll be about the same price in Orlando.

Edited to add that my 16 yr old DD wears them too.

Another vote for the Crocs. Very very comfy and for all that walking you do in Orlando definately worth purchasing a pair here in advance.

I did struggle to find any in Orlando, we went to Florida Mall and local shops and couldn't find any. I did buy the black disney ones and when we were waiting at MCO they have a Croc shop, but unfortunately they hadn't opened the new stock so didn't have any colours in my size.

I have to admit I thought they looked pretty daft and not for me,but I've just been having a look and have fallen in love with the pink disney crocs for the girls, and possibly myself :rotfl2: They look really cool and cute and comfy,Ideal for all the walking around WDW if you ask me.
But I dont own a pair so cant personally comment but have to admit they are having an effect on me :thumbsup2

I'm another fan of Crocs!! Although when I first saw them a few years ago, I wasn't that keen on them, but am now a convert!!! I have three pairs, all different styles, one pair of Mary Jane style, a pair of flip-flop style (think they are called Athens) and a pair of Beach. Will likely be taking all 3 pairs when we go back to WDW in September!! :cool1: They are so comfy and lightweight, which also helps to keep your luggage weight allowance down!

I agree that they look daft. I have silver and i look like a cyberman in them! But they are sooooooooooooooo comfy. Even after lots of walking they dont rub or anything. We just got back from WDW and i wore them to the parks and the pool everyday, they are so comfy.

DD 4 has silver Crocs (we bought here) plus the pink Disney crocs which we bought in Epcot. However as they come in dual sizes thay are a bit big on her and she fell over in them many times when she was running or being silly so be careful if buying them for kids. Also we bought her lots of Jibbitz in the parks (little badge type rubber pictures of characters you slot through the holes) They fit great on her regular Crocs but the Disney Crocs have Mickey shaped holes and the Jibbitz fell out sometimes.

Apart from Disney Crocs we didn't see any apart from at the airport on the way home but they did not have my size. Looks like i will be ordering online or going to Costco to get more. They are cheaper there but hard to get so get them before you go. Trouble is, the sizing is unusual so you need to try on first. Try on in a shop then order cheaper online!

My parents travelled with us. My Mum wanted some Crocs but did not want to spend the money. So she bought fake Crocs from Romford market for £5. Apart from oval holes they look very similar to Crocs (they are white and look a bit like polystyrene fast food boxes, lol) and they were also very comfy. Of course they dont have the Croc logo on them. At Epcot one day DD says very loudly 'Nanny they forgot to put the picture of the crocodile on your Crocs!'. It was very funny. Poor old Nanny.

Bye for now,
Mandy :)

I bought my 1st pair of Crocs last July when I was going on my Summer Hols, mainly as I was pregnant and my feet were swelling in the heat - I have never been so comfy in my life! They are great, they may look a bit odd but everyone is wearing them now! I think I paid £28 online, and I am waiting until we go in December to get some Disney ones!

Sorry I meant to say that I was looking at the flip flop version (for women and children)....Any more thoughts

Hi Andy, Lou & Meg,
Yes you can buy Crocs in Orlando.
There is a shop at the Premium outlet, but can't remember its name.
You can also buy from MCO, Dillards, etc.
Am going to get some more when we go in a few weeks.
Does anyone know whether you can get them from Macy's? As these would work out pretty cheap with the 11% tourist discount card?!!
Tracy
:woohoo:

I have a pair of the athens crocs which are the flip flop type, they are really really comfortable........my DD's have the Mickey croc's they're lovely :), I purchased our's from the USA, but you can get the athens crocs from Next.

Do any of your crocs squeak? My squeak really badly and I dont think its just my sweaty feet (sorry!!).

i am very very attached to my flip flop crocs... i got them about 3 weeks ago so haven't really had a chnace to wear, but around the house they are so comfy. They have a crocs shop in orlando airport, again didnt have my size in the flip flops when we came home in Feb, so i ordered min online for about £20 - well worth the money. I have since brought some of the breach ones for wearing when the weathers not so nice... i would love to own them in every colour so i never had to take them off:rotfl: :rotfl:

:lmao: My beach Crocs squeek, not sure why but they are comfy although I find mine more comfy with trainer socks:lmao:

strange question.... do the flip flop crocs rub between your toes? if i wear normal flip flops for a long time they tend to end up rubbing off the skin between my toes (really painful)

Another Crocs lover here, they are just soooooo comfy!! My don't squeak but they do squelch when my feet are sweaty!

If your feet sweat do you find your feet sliding around them, especially the flip flop types? Anyone been on any wet rides with them? If so do they with stand it all fine? Sorry a little personal, but the other day my flip flop went flying across the pathway, because it was really hot and I was stupid to wear my jeans. When I was walking it flew off leaving me shoeless? Does this happen with any crocs?

I am going to buy some cayman styles and athens ones. I might buy two from taylors if it works cheaper than over here. Not sure.

I believe Primark sell a copy Crocs style flip flop for about £4 and I have heard they are well made and don't look like cheapies.

are they realy THAT comfortable? ive actually never tried a pari on, due to the fact that i think they are super ugly lol. are they any different from flip flops? i dont think i can be persuaded!
xxxx

hey disney girl i was the same try a pair on then make up ur own mind you will feel the difference :-D
