Where do you buy these? I know I've seen lots of versions of these around but is there a difference betwen these and actual "crocs"? Are "crocs" even a brand name or just kind of a nickname? I'm thinking of buying these for our DL visit next weekend since I know they should be comfy and I don't have to worry about the kids getting their feet wet on rides. Any suggestions on where to buy them?

Crocs are a brand name, and there are generic versions around too! They sell them at the mall, or you can buy them online. The generic versions have other names, not Crocs which is actually the brand name.

Lots of people like them, I am not a huge fan because my feet sweat in them and I can't stand that feeling. I think you should try them first though, they are expensive and I am not one to break in new shoes on a trip, that can turn out bad! Good luck, you might love them!

Thanks.....I saw some kids croc-like one's at Toys R Us for around $13. I agree that we don't want to break them in at DL but maybe I can just get them to put on when we go on Splash. Nothing worse that soggy socks and wet shoes!! HAHA!

I agree. I always have the girls wear sandals, or if they wear tennis, a regular pair of flip flops takes up much less room in the stroller/backpack than Crocs and are cheaper!

Well I live in CA....Bay Area to be exact and so far i've seen Crocs in Hallmark, Nordstroms, Stride Rite [kids Sizes],and a Crocs Kiosk at the mall. I purchased my first pair 2 weeks ago.....and I bought a pair of sandals and a second pair of Disney Caymans yesterday [Saturday]....:cool1: ...You know what they say welcome to Croc nation! :lmao: I'm an addict!!!:rotfl:

I bought my crocs from Nordstrom. It cost around $30. They are actually really comfy. I put them through the DL/DCA footsies test! They passed and my feet didn't hurt at the end of the day!

Crocs are awesome. I bought a pair of Mary Janes for myself and they are so comfy! I also bought Disney Caymens for my kids before our Disney Trip. Get them before you get there because they are at least $10 more at DL.

I have an e-mail that gives you $15 off $60 purchase at Shoebuy.com. PM me if you'd like me to forward you the e-mail.

http://www.dickssportinggoods.com/home/index.jsp?cid= This is also a good place to buy Disney Crocs. If you've never used Google Checkout before you can get $10 off your purchase using that.

As an added bonus, if you sign up with http://www.ebates.com/ you can get additional cashback into your ebates account by accessing either of those websites through ebates. Use me as a referral and we both get an additional $5 in our ebates account. Let me know if you have any questions.

Happy shopping!:)

I know that Nordstrom has the mickey Crocs there, but not sure on there price.

Our Gottschalk's carries them as well....I've heard Hallmark gets them occassionally too.

I got my mickey crocs from shoebuy.com and they were $27. I'll wear them at the parks after dark and on water rides.

I love the little mickey heads and probably never would have purchased them if it hadn't been for the mickeys. The little mickey heads make me happy!

Crocs are GREAT! :thumbsup2

Our whole family wore them all day at the DLR multiple times without any problems. We also took them with us to a seven-day Disney Cruise last month and did not miss our shoes one bit. I also have their flipflops (athens) and find them comfy as well.

Good luck in your search and hope you like them.

Have to add my praise here-I bought my Mary Janes through Shoebuy, with a first time buyer, a coupon code I found online, and an ebates refund, and they were only about $20, so definitely not expensive. I have been living in them every since, and am buying dd a pair for DL. No problem at all with my feet sweating, though to be fair I haven't tried em in hot weather yet.

They also have Crocs available at the parks, hotels and downtown disney World of Disney. They have many colors for kids, but for adults I have only seen Red, Black, and some with a Pirates of the Caribbean print (they are maroon and black. Hope you find what you are looking for. The ones here at the park have holes in the shape of mickey ears. They are between 30-40 bucks.

Huge croc fan here for me and the girls. I like the sandals, they are kinda pricey but so comfy.

We are here right now, and the Crocs that I bought for myself and my girls have been great - in fact, we wouldn't have coped the last 2 days without them...

Our middle daughter wore her other "comfy" shoes a few days ago to walk around Las Vegas, and ended up with REALLY sore feet. The past 2 days at Disneyland, she's had NO SORE FEET, and we've walked for far more hours than the 3 that we did at Las Vegas.

And, yes, the 3 of us were the ones who's feet dried off after Splash Mountain on the first morning - my son (who refused to get a pair of Crocs) had to make a trip back to the hotel for new shoes and pants...

Regards Jennifer, Sydney, Australia
but, right now sitting in the Paradise Pier Hotel (owing you all a trip report...)

I am not a big fan of Crocs..My SIL wore (yes.. originals) to DL last year and her feet got full of blisters..and.. they sweated in the shoes..She ended up shelving them for tennies...My 8 year old daughter loves Cali Gear..which is Skechers answer to Crocs..she wears them all the time without a problem..and adds the jibbitz whenever she can..to make them more fun..So far..she has about 6 Disney Jibbitz to go in her shoes..

My 9yo and 6yo got one last summer and they love them. They'd wear them all year round if I'd let them. We just picked up the new pirates croc from nordstrom today and ds loves them.

I bought a pair of crocs recently because of an ankle brace I have to wear temporarily--I thought (correctly) that they would be roomy enough to accomodate the extra bulk. I had also read how comfortable the crocs are supposed to be on a Disney forum, and so I am rather disappointed in them for that purpose: as a teacher, I'm on my feet constantly, and I have found that the crocs are good for about 4 hours; then I have to switch to tennis shoes (Sketchers) for about 2 hours; then I can go back to the crocs. I also don't care for the sensation of bare feet in the crocs, so I wear some very thin, low socks.

Oh, and I knew they were ugly, but I wasn't prepared for HOW ugly they look! Like gardening clogs!

Or maybe...duck feet!:lmao:

Don't get ripoff Crocs. They are NOT the same. It's the material they are made out of. Personally I dont like them for a long day at DL your feet will KILL. Get KEENS real shoe with real arch support.
