Hiya

I dont know whether this is on the right board or not, but I have some questions about these croc shoes that the people from the usa seem to love.

has anybody here got them, i know they look strange but are very comfy.?

also where to get them?

and if I am a sie nine uk what sie usa?

thanx every one I am on a shoe mission today for my holidays.

so if i am a nine and i want the aspen crocs, i should get a 10 and do they do a womens ten

Thought I'd chime in even though I'm in the states.

I got my Crocs the day before our last trip to Disneyworld in December. I thought I'd bring them along to see if they were comfortable enough for a whole day of walking. Well they definitely were! I wore them 3 days straight and didn't even think about my feet! Usually I alternate between two pairs of well broken in shoes, but once I tried them out and they were so comfortable I didn't want to go without them.

I wear a womens size 10 (american) I got the size large... which says
Womens 10-11 or Mens 8-9. It also has the Crocs website www.crocs.com

One more note. I have only worn them with socks, and in the cooler part of the year. I don't know if they would be cool enough to be comfortable in the summer... especially if your talking about a Florida summer.

Give them a try! I think the neutral coolers, navy, brown, beige aren't quite as ugly... maybe only because your eye isn't drawn to them as much as the bright colors. Enjoy! They're like walking on air!

I looked for Croc`s online last week - there was a site in Wales selling them. I must admit they do look strange but I did see alot of people wearing them last year and I think they will be a must have here soon.
My daughter takes a UK size 9 so we buy size 11 in the USA.
Happy hunting :)

I bought some Crocs style shoes in WalMart for $8 Anna.

They are very comfy but they are very unattractive! But at WDW comfort is key!

There are no mens/womens - one style for all. I think I might have been able to get away with a 4 as I'm a 4 1/2 - not sure if you'd need a 9 or 10 . I suspect a 9. Why not get them - you can return within 7 days for an exchange - obviously they must be unworn. :cool1:

I am a size 7 and I wear a size M in Crocs I imagine that a L will fit you, but you might need an XL

I absolutely LOVE them! I have 8 pairs!
They are the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. I do not find them hot, even in Florida humidity in August. I also wore them in freezing new york conditions, and they were toasty as the latex is such a good insulation. (These were the types with no holes in them)

For the summer you definitely need the ones with holes in them.

I cant wait for summer so I can wear them again!

The US sizes are 4 - 5 UK = 6 - 7 US (S) 6 - 7 UK = 8 - 9 US (M) 8 - 9 UK = 10 - 11 (L) US, 10 - 11 Uk = 12- 13 US (XL)
I think those are the sizes anyway!

Crocs sound interesting, how much are they to buy here?

Claire ;)

You know, the new Aspen design in black actually looks nice to me. I might be tempted to invest as I always end up in pain walking by the end of our trip.

they are usually 24.99 I think to buy.

I have had a look and i think i'm hooked.

quick question are the kids ones, do the back adjust, just thinking about rubbing on DD skin.

How high are the soles, just thinking if they will boost her height for rides :)

hiya

Just to reassure you about rubbing - they don't :) Well they didn't for me and I usually really struggle with rubbing shoes.

Just to say I bought mine & DS' Crocs from crocshop.co.uk, the shop in Wales. They tell you the UK sizes. Mine were too big - I know they're meant to be loose, but these were falling off - so I returned them with no problems for a smaller size. I also ordered the butter colour thinking they would be a nice beigy colour and they were bright yellow and a bit too "look at my funny shoes" for me! They changed them to the Khaki with no problems. I had to pay return postage but they're so light it was quite cheap. (DS has the Sage green colour, as they're "proper army soldier shoes" and he loves them!!) I would recommed the site and the shoes, they're very comfy.

I got DD pearl white, hmmm, i would change my dentist if my teeth were is pearl white, :rotfl:

More like a white/grey.

I got basic black.

Very comfy indeed

Hi,
I got a pair of Crocs about 3 weeks ago and they are fantastic! I have Fibromyalgia which affects my back and legs making it agony to walk or stand, and my Crocs made it possible for me to go out dancing!!!

I brought mine in Ledbury and found that I needed the larger size than I thought to make sure they were comfortable. I got the purple ones and I love them and can't wait til we go to Disney in October so I can buy lots more!

cant wait to get them, if I like them I will be getting the aspen ones too
