Crocs with Socks??

I am considering buying crocs for my family for this summer. Problem is, I don't like to wear shoes without socks, and neither do my kids. Do people wear socks with these in the summer? Are they comfy for all day wear? (We tend to go from lunchtime until the end of PM EMH, and I don't want my feet to hurt!)

People do wear them with socks. In the summer I prefer no socks but I've seen people wear socks for sure.

I just got my navy University of Michigan crocs in the mail yesterday and I'm wearing them today with navy socks. I love them, they are the best feeling shoes I've ever had!

We went to WDW in early May, I was more comfortable with socks with my Crocs, as was DD5. I usually wear socks with them, white anklet style!

Most of the time I wear my Crocs without socks....but I do agree that they are comfortable with socks too.

I think I like my Crocs with Socks too. You don't have that "plastic feel". But if I have my flip-flop Crocs, that changes everything. Thos are my FAV!

Oh yeah, and they make Crocs Socks too, you can find them online and at the mall kiosks.

You can get those ankle socks that don't go up very high.

My personal fav are the super duper soft socks...those Socks feel great in my Crocs.

IF I wear my crocs without socks they seem to be uncomfortable. My feet stick to them. Socks are the way to go. I also think it might depend on the style. I have beach...

The kids and I want the Disney crocs, but DH will probably want a regular style. Glad to hear others wear them with socks!

At home I'm a naked croc wearer.......(no socks that is!)
At the World I like to wear coolmax socks, first I bodyglide my feet then put on my socks. I carry moleskin in case of any hot spots, not usally needed but, better safe than sorry. I also carry a spare pair of socks in case my feet get wet, or too sweaty.
I like my feet to feel clean, and it can get a little gritty with no socks.

If you're wearing shorts, I would suggest the really low (no show) socks.

When we went in Sept. my Mom wore Crocs the entire time but was more comfortable in socks. She put them on with ankle height socks, DS9 luaghed and told her "Nana, that doesn't look good." She agreed and borrowed "no show" socks from me the entire trip. I always pack way too many socks.

In the Winter, I wear mine with socks since they can't be seen.
