We are going to WDW in Feb. and I was wondering if anyone has been in the recent cold and worn their crocs. They are my favorite shoes and I have worn them in the parks and loved them; no blisters and feet don't hurt at all. Has anyone worn them with thick socks on cold nights? Will my feet freeze? My DD 10 will also most likely wear hers.

I was wearing my crocs with socks today and a chinook was blowing with a balmy +4c/39f. My feet were not cold at all. We are all wearing ours in february as it will be like summer to us! woooohooo!

I was wearing mine today is 31 degree F weather and they were VERY warm. I was actually surprised. . . but crocs with socks keeps your feet warm!

I am wearing mine with socks right now. I wear socks with the Aspens(the ones without holes). I do not wear socks with the Beach style unless the temps are cool. I usually save the Beach style for warm weather.

I wear them with socks almost all the time. they are just more comfortable to me that way.

In January I wore them with socks at WDW. I'll do it in August too, in order to prevent blisters. Yes, I look like a doofus, wearing shorts and crocs with socks, but my comfort is far more important than what strangers that I will never see again think of my outfit! :teeth:

Couldn't have said it better myself!!!

This time of year I always wear socks with my Crocs!! I like the tan-colored ankle-biters!!

I have been wearing my crocs every day since Oct. when I got my Mickey ones. It is very snowy and icy here now, temps have been running around 8-12 F when the sun is not out, and I've been totally comfortable in them. I am hot blooded by nature, so maybe if you're a cold blooded person, you might have a problem. I've been wearing the thick fuzzy socks with them since it's gotten cold out.

I too have been wearing my Mickey Crocs since the middle of November and with the socks my feet are very warm. I just bought my thorlo socks to wear in Jan with my crocs so I don't get blisters (my feet always blister) And I don't care what my outfit looks like either. As long as I can walk for 9 days and keep up with my family I will be happy! :cheer2:

We go every February and I love wearing my crocs. This year it is the Disney crocs! YEAH! The older I get the colder I get so I do wear socks with my crocs at WDW. I usually wear the same color sock as the crocs I am wearing though. That way it isn't so "geeky" like as my adult kids say. LOL Enjoy

Funny you mention that.

Well I went in the Sportsman Warehouse today, what I've always thought to be a hunter oriented goods store. Right as I walk in there's a huge Croc display and a smaller display with the Disney crocs all there.

So never having worn them, or seen them for that matter, but reading so much about them I had to try them on. They were comfy but pretty spongy. Do they offer enough support for lots of walking?

Harleyquinn mentioned having reservations about the look. Well I'm a 6'3" guy and given the forecast for next week will most likely be wearing shorts much of the time. I just had a mental image of me hiking around the world in those looking like some kind of goofy Dutch beach bum from the 60's. (With my apologies in advance to the Dutch and beach bums both for the reference.)

Now I wouldn't care a'tall if they are really all they are touted to be. Do they have many styles? The two they had both looked like clogs in shape but were made from a rubbery plastic spongy type material. They had a Birkenstock feel to them. One was a solid design and one had holes through out the design. The holey one looked similar to the Disney ones. (Though if the Disney ones have Mouse cutouts I didn't see as didn't look closely.)

Thanks for any input. Many men a'wearing Crocs?

Hi Claymax,
My girlfriend's daughter and her boyfriend will be will both be wearing Crocs. They are leaving for DW tomorrow. I know guys wear them. He said he just got his, has been wearing them all day today and that they feel like slippers. My girlfriend and I will be there Sunday, and will be wearing our Crocs with socks on, unless it's too warm for socks. The I'll wear my Croc Scutes, that I wore in August. They are the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. Have fun!!

I love mine. They are the most comfortable shoes I own. If you go on crocs.com you can see all of them. I find that the designs are all similar.

Thanks to all of you who responded. I am relieved that I can wear them. :goodvibes My tennis shoes always give me blisters after a few days.

Thanks for the information.

I went to the Crocs site and one of the pics I saw on the home page was people wearing them with socks, so it's official!

After looking at the different models online, the only ones I saw in the sporting goods store were the Beach and the Endeavor models (and the Disney ones in kids sizes).

What models do you all wear to Disney?

I will be wearing mine with socks after I open them up for Christmas. :woohoo: I have never owned a pair of Crocs before but that had to change when I saw the Disney ones!
