crocs to get or not to get

Has anyone ordered the ones for kids? If so how do the sizes run - do they still run big like the adults?

Just wondering how the Payless Shoes version of these are? Are the comfortable too? Here is a link to their website:

OK, I stopped in at Payless today, and they had the ones above, and some slides:

I got the clog kinds. I never tried the regular Crocs, so I can't compare. So far they are comfortable, I don't know that I would wear them in the parks, but I have 2 months to get use to them. They were only $15, BUT they are not the name brand "Crocs", and usually the original is better.

If I like these, I may give the Nile style a try (I like them better then the slide style at Payless).

BTW, I wear an 8 1/2 shoe, and I had to buy these in a 7 at Payless. I haven't worn a 7 since I was in Middle School! So I would be nervous buying these online without being able to try them on.

Okay -- I am cursed with the sweatiest feet in the world (and quite possibly the universe!). Will these work for me? The last thing I want is for my feet to be slippin' and slidin' all day long with my poor toes trying to hold on for dear life!

I get blisters even with broken in shoes and have to resort to moleskin and limping! will these help me? I also can get sweaty feet, especially in leather or vinyl.

Anyone try these?

Also, has anyone found CROCS at a chain store (like JCPenneys or Sears or something easily found anywhere). I hate to order shoes online, I like trying them on first.

Thanks,

Try Journeys (in the malls) or Dillards, Hallmark stores and they might carry them where you are--Also go to the website www.crocs.com and click at the bottom to find a dealer near you.

I can't say for sure that these won't make your feet sweat because I don't know--what I do know is that they won't cause it and if they do the shoes won't carry any odor at all. The beach or Cayman are better because of the holes--but crocs have these little nubs that help to prevent them from sweating and help create circulation.

Can't say that you won't because some have however from what I have found it is on a few people and only in the process of breaking in--after that no blister. I have never gotten one at all and I believe I am the majority here. But for me I also don't worry about the fit as much as some do. I bought my bigger and because of that, they don't rub against anything. It is a little harder getting used to the walking, but for me no problem because I had been wearing Birkenstocks for so long and Danskin clogs (which I sprained my ankle in, another story) So, I would say go with it...if you should get a blister then use the moleskin and you will be fine because after they breakin for awhile, you shouldn't have that problem.

i haven't worn mine in the parks yet, but i plan to. i have sweaty feet too and my feet do sweat in the crocs but it doesn't cause me problems (no blisters or slipping around).

Thank you Dchef & caitycaity...I think I'll give them a shot!!!

Sigh...we checked out the Crocs store in the mall Saturday because of all the hype here- I wanted some! But they are just not right for me- they seemed too deep in the toes. I felt like my foot was flopping up and down inside with each step. But DH heard a girl in there say something about Payless and HE got himself a pair there. They had a different style of sandal which was a little better for me because they had straps you could tighten across the top of your foot. But they still weren't quite right.
