Crocs sizing advice

I keep hearing all about these shoes and finally got to see them in person last weekend (my MIL and SIL own them and say they are fabulous) I tried on my MIL's to see how I would like them and if they would fit. They were a womens 8-9 (I normally take a 9) I heard they needed to have room all around the sides, toe and back. I had plenty of room in the front and back but my foot touched the sides (I have wide feet) Can someone tell me if I just need to go to the next size or do they have a wide? These would like "clogs" They had an opened back to them.

Dillard's (in our mall) has a seperate section of crocs for men. colors arent much to choose from. website for Dicks sporting goods have mens crocs even in disney style

well i found that the sizing on the shoes are a bit small I usualy wear a 12 in sneeker but i wound up getting a 10 but this is for the shoes that have actual sizes. for the standard i just get xl
