Hi everyone. I am a huge crocs fan and usually wear the athens around the parks. I find them to be very comfortable (equal to the beach but in sandal form). I am getting a bit bored because I have been wearing them 2 summers in a row so it is time for a new pair. I noticed the Baja and capri styles as well and was wondering if anyone had experience with them.

I have both, the Athens & the Capris. I don't like Athens because of the hard plastic thing between my toes on the Athens, but the Capris are GREAT !!!! The area that runs between your toes is soft & made of soft suede.

If it is raining though, the Athens would be better because they are completely & fully made of the Crocs material & have no fabric on them, where as the Capris upper area is fabric, so both have their advantages. Hope this helps. :santa::santa::santa:

I have two pairs of CLEO (they don't have the thing between your toes, I don't like that) I highly recommend them - I wore them all over europe last summer and they were wonderful after full days of walking. I plan on wearing them to WDW in August. :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

I love my Capri crocs and find them very comfortouble to wear for a long length of time. For days in the park though I like to wear my Mary Janes (especially my Disney ones!) I like crocs that I can keep on when I am riding the coasters.

I too love the Croc Cleos. They are the most comfortable pair of shoes to walk in. More comfy than my tennis shoes.

I have the Crocs sandals with the fabric "thongs" and they are a dream for the parks. I've worn them my past two trips - - September for 9 days and March for 7 days. Actually, when we went in September, I went back to my regular Crocs for a day and was miserable, so the only shoes I packed for our trip in March was the Crocs sandals. :thumbsup2

Try shopping Piperlime.com or Crocs.com. I was able to get a new pair of the Mickey green and orange athens Crocs dirt cheep. I also got a new pair of blue regular Mickey Crocs for very little money.

Thanks everyone...I think I will give the capris a try. I still have my athens so I can bring them as back up:goodvibes

Do you all buy your Crocs online? I haven't been able to find them in the stores anymore around here. :confused3

I LOVE the mary jane crocs. I have been wearing them in the parks for our past two trips. I actually had my sneakers on for one day at HS and I was so miserable with them on. I love the mary janes because they have a strap so they will stay on and if it rains they are perfect!!!

THe new Crocs style with the microfiber thong is called Baja, and it's available on their website. Be aware that this new style is narrower than the Athens, but the thong is also narrower and more flexible! I tried a pair of the Capri Suede and liked it. Crocs also has another brand called Ocean Minded and they have one model of flip flop that is similar to the Capri - molded footbed - and it's very comfortable too!

I've worn my mary janes on other trips with lots of working and didn't have any problems with them, so I think I'm bringing those this year to Disney. I've done the parks in regular crocs and they worked great - good for the wet rides, and if we got cold, I would just put a thin pair of socks on (yes, I know this is ugly and tacky, but I'm at Disney and want to be comfortable!)

Use caution with crocs or any soft shoe. My daughters Micky Crock got sucked into the escelator in The Land. Shoe was completely sawed off. Lucky she came out unharmed.

I have the Crocs Capris and really like them for the comfort but I've had a problem with both pairs I've had. I don't know if it's just me but the soles have worn smooth in just a few months, increasing my fall risk (like I need help!).

They sell them at Dicks sporting goods but limited styles and colors. I usually buy them online either at footsmart.com or crocs.com depending on where I get a good ecoupon.

Supersteelerfan- that is crazy. Some of my crocs have worn down but it usually takes over a year...it depends on use. If it is only a few months I would complain to crocs!

I did complain and they sent me a new pair which did the same thing. In the meantime, I had also purchased a second pair and that one did it as well so really, I've had 3 pairs do that. It is strange because I've been wearing my old Mickey crocs for 2.5 yrs. They're pretty well worn on the bottom now but it took quite some time for that to happen - certainly not in a month! It's a shame too because I really love the Capri style - very comfy!

That's so terrible!

I LOVE my Crocs Capris. I have two pairs, and will be getting another 1-2 pairs before our Disney trip in September. I recently had foot surgery, and they're one of the few shoes that I can wear that aren't totally ugly (gotta love orthopedic shoes!).

Last September, I forgot my Capris and bought the Athens while at WDW. SO uncomfortable for me--they didn't fit the shape of my feet at all. I actually just gave them to my mom a few weeks ago, and she got blisters within an hour too. Oops. She also swears by Capris (I turned her onto them).

I buy my Capris online. I usually search ebay first because if you look around you can get GREAT deals. I wear a size 8 in them, so on e-bay I use the search term "croc capri 8" and see what pops up in my size.

Also second piperlime.com--they usually have good deals. You can also check online stores such as zappos.com and shoebuy.com, and do a quick internet search because sometimes you can find deals such as free shipping codes or a few dollars off your order. I've never bought Croc capris for retail value because there are so many deals out there if you just put in the effort to do a little searching.
