Yes, I know. Next I'm going to post a stroller question :confused3. I am getting Crocs for myself, DSD and DD. I am leaning towards Caymans for myself, as I will be 20ish weeks pregnant and feel that I need some sort of strap across the back to prevent me sliding out of them (the Old Navy flip flops I usually live in are a death trap when they get wet). My question on these is, are my feet going to get too hot? Maybe I am being overly paranoid about the slipping factor and should get the Athens or Cleos instead? I know I will be getting them wet because the toddler that I will be chasing is strangely attracted to water.
For DSD, she is in a 3 in regular shoes. Does this put her in a junior 3 (is this the same as the womens 3?) or should I size her up to the womens 4? Also, I can't decide on a style for her. I'm pretty sure last summer she had a pair of generic caymans and loved them but I'm not sure if I should go with a more traditional 'summer' shoe since they will be her primary shoe this summer.
And DD, my water attracted toddler. Last year I know she mainly wore a pair of generic caymans and did great in them. I guess keeping her in closed toe shoes is probably the smartest idea. I'm not sure on the sizing though. We just got her sneakers this weekend and she had to have a 6 Wide so I'm a little worried that a 6/7 is going to rub her feet. Anyone have any experience with this? TIA

The bottom of all crocs are pretty much the same so you will slip the same amount in any style you get. I personally think if slipping is a concern then Crocs are not the way to go, they get really slippery when wet. That being said I always wear Crocs in the park. I prefer the mary jane style because I think they are cooler and more confortable than the Cayman style. They also have the back strap you are looking for.

My dd is in a girls 3 and we buy the Juniors 3. I would ask her what style she likes. DD7 used to like only mary jane style but now likes the Caymans.

Crocs tend to run a bit wide imo so I think you would be okay with the 6/7 for your little one.
Hope that helps.

Can you wait until she can pick them out with you. At that age kids start to get picky about their clothes and her tastes may have changed.

I recommend the Cleos. I love mine, and have never slipped out of them.

I wouldn't wear Crocs to WDW if I was pregnant, they can be too slippery. I have Keen Newports and they are WONDERFUL. That's what I would wear!

HTH!

I wear Crocs all the time and have only had an issue with them being slippery when they are older and the bottoms are worn. I think you would be fine in a new pair. The Specialist Vented is the most supportive style Croc I have found. They have a nice arch support!
