I'm sorry because I know these shoes have been a topic before...I was just checking out their website and was wondering what style anyone ordered and did you like them? I liked the "beach" style and will order if i hear good things! The "nile" style looked a bit uncomfortable. Also, anyone have these for your kids? Thanks for your time and tolerance for a repost...

ps how long did it take for them to arrive?

I have beach (two pairs) one blue and one emerald. I love them. I just returned from WDW and wore them everyday all day. They are extrememely comfortable. I ordered my first pair from Crocs.com and they came within a week. Then I ordered my second pair from Zappos and they came in a few days. I ordered a third pair from Crocs.com and they had a three week back order. I canceled that because I did not want to wait that long. If Zappos.com carried Metropolitans I would order from them, they were cheaper and faster.

I have checked the website many times and they never seem to have the kids sizes in stock. I purchased a pair of the Airwalks for my daughter from Payless.com. They can't keep them in stock in the stores. You can go on the website and order and have it shipped to a store in your area for no charge. My daughter's pink pair should be in this week. She is SO excited. I was curious so I went to Payless and found me a pair of the light blue ones and man are they comfy! I want to order a pair of the authentic Crocs now but I've read on other threads that they feel pretty much the same as the Airwalks so I'm in no rush.

If you're looking for kids sizes in boy colors, I found a website called nofeargear.com and they are taking pre-orders for kids sizes that will ship in early June.

Good luck.

My kids and I have worn crocs for a while, and we all love them! They really are very comfortable. I bought them locally, but I have ordered from zappos before, and never had any problems. I don't think you can go wrong for $30.00.

I just returned from WDW May 22nd. I took Teva Pretty Ruggged Leather sandals, Teva Mush flip flops, Croc Beach, and Croc Niles. I had been wearing all four at home everyday to walk my dog and for shopping and had had no problems with them. The first day at WDW I wore my Croc Niles and got two small blisters on my left foot where the horizontal ridge is that goes just below your toes and at the end of my middle toe. For the next two days I had to wear my Teva sandals and flip flops. After that I tried to alternate but found my Tevas much more comfortable. I didn't wear the Niles again though until the next to the last day. Thankfully I dropped my Teva Mush flip flops in my backpack just in case I needed them and am so glad I did as I had to change shoes within about an hour, due to the Niles started rubbing in the same places again just below the big toe along that horizontal ridge. That same day I spoke to another lady I saw wearing the Beach model and she said the same thing had happened with her daughter and her Niles. She also told me that even though she was wearing the Croc beach that her Tevas were really more comfortable, but she was just swapping them out.

I posted this when I got back a few days ago and got several responses where people said the same thing: that they had had better luck with their Teva Pretty Rugged Leather sandals or Teva Mush flip flops than with their Crocs. In order of comfort I would rank them as #1 Teva Pretty Rugged Leather sandals, a close #2 Teva Mush flip flops, a distant #3 Croc Beach, and #4 Croc Niles.

I bought a pair of the Airwalks and I'm sorry to say I'm really not crazy about them. It's not that they rub or cause blisters, but they don't provide nearly enough arch support for my feet. I wore them shopping one day last week and my feet hurt like a toothache. They're also no good for wearing on gravel or uneven pavement - you can feel every little bump jabbing into the bottom of your foot. Maybe the real Crocs are better, but given the price of them I'm not willing to chance it. Guess I'll just stick with my Reeboks. I'm really disappointed, though, I was hoping the Airwalks would give me happy feet!

I cut some of my Crocs up today, trying to design a more comfortable shoe.
I really like the material they use, and the squish it provides.
The material also cuts really easy.
I need to find a glue, that holds really well, so I can create my own shoe top, and make it fit my foot.

I did leave one pair of crocs in tact. These fit well when I wear 3 pairs of socks with them.

I have Beach & Niles. I wear them all the time at home & love them - However, I bought the Niles with me to WDW in April. I alternated them between Tevas, Clarks & Champions. I wound up getting a blister on top of my foot on a day I was wearing the Niles. The blister formed where all the shoes hit the top of my foot except the Tevas. I was hesitant to blame the Niles as I had worn them much more than the other shoes before the trip, but have seen other posts where people who wear Crocs at home all the time got blisters with them in WDW. :confused3
I will still bring my Crocs to WDW & wear them to the water parks or something. But, if I wear them for a full day, I will bring another pair of shoes just in case I get another hot spot. I have never gotten a blister in WDW before this....

I got the Beach style at our Dillards and love them! I wear them more than my Birks now. Whats nice is if they get wet, they dry fast, dont stink and when dirty I just hose them off. Theyre so unbelievably lightweight too. I like that they feel a bit big on my foot (Im 8 months pregnant so thats really nice) and when they are wet, it doesnt bother me. My foot may slide around inside a bit, but the shoe itself doesnt lose traction. I would much prefer to go around barefoot no matter what time of year it is, but thanks to fire ants, shoes are a must! Crocs are the next best thing. I havent spent an entire day at WDW in them, but the other day my feet did start to hurt after a while (but then again Im pregnant so I cant really judge that just yet). The one thing I didnt like was when I wore them on the beach, the sand didnt fall out of them very easily despite all the holes. Normally I go barefoot on the beach, but I thought Id try them out in the loose sand. For the price, they are definitely worth it. Ive heard some say that the Payless version isnt as cushiony or spongey like Crocs.

I've had my Niles for a little over a week and I love them but the real test will be when we go to WDW on Saturday. I bought my DD and DH a pair of the Airwalks at Payless the other day (buy 1 get 1 half price!!) and they're very comfortable although they don't seem quite as soft and cushy as my Niles but my DD loves hers and I've been breaking my husbands in for him (he may not get them back although I couldn't believe it when he said he wanted a pair!!). I have a pair of the Mush flip-flops I'll be wearing also as well as BodyGlide which hopefully will help to prevent blisters.

I've got the beach and I love them. I started with the Payless knockoff's and found that I really liked them so I sprang for the crocs. They run large and at first seemed a bit snug, but they did stretch. I normally wear a 9.5 wide but the 7-8 provides the proper fit for me now that they have stretched. I love that I feel "more lined up in them" I don't experience the knee and hip pain I usually experience when I am on my feet all day, and I've even been able to cut back on my meds.

I have the niles - I love them - Ihave the pearl white -which are more cream
or a gray white than a white....wear them all the time all day no issues.
I have bad heal spurs and wear fly flot clogs and flops all the time they are wonderful too....neither brand hurt my heals at all - Fly flots have a lot of styles from casual to dressy tooo....but niles are great for water and other issues where the flots are not. :earsgirl:

I just bought my daughter a pair yesterday. One of our local stores has the kids sizes in stock if anybody needs them www.taylorshoes.com The owner is super nice and even emailed me when the shoes came in and then held a pair until I could come get them. The shipping is only $5.00 if you order them on-line.

Does anyone who loves these shoes have high arches? I have pair and while they are great for around the house, they are not walking material for me. I can't do flat shoes while I am walking long distances. This is why I can't do Reefs (VERY comfy flips similar to Tevas) either :(

I bought the Nile model and while the bottom of the sandal fits my foot perfectly, the backstrap is too big and doesn't actually touch the back of my heel all the time. Every once in a while, the strap actually makes contact with my foot, which is annoying when you are walking. Since these are more like traditional sandals, it looks strange if you push the strap forward. I'm thinking of just cutting the strap off.

As far as comfort, I was expecting to be amazed at how comfortable they were after reading all the Crocs thread. They are comfortable, but I don't see a big diference between them and my Nike Straprunners.

I have the Beach and Nile models and like them both. However I tried wearing them at WDW and it felt like my foot would go to sleep! I got that "pins and needles" feeling in one of my feet with them on. I ended up wearing my Tevas all week.

It seems like the Crocs are just to squishy to wear all day or for heavy walking - at least for me. I like the Crocs and wear them everywhere at home but I was so glad I brought my Tevas!

I own a pair of Beach and a pair of Nile...I prefer the Beach. I have a fat foot and the Nile tend to cause a hot spot on my big toe...no blisters yet, just feel it getting hot. I am going to give the Beach a go at WDW next week...I'll start the first day as they are easy shoes for going through security at the airport and continue with them though the first night. I am taking my Earth shoes sandals...similar to the Teva style and my good ol' Nikes and plan to switch off between the three.
