Crocs Question

i'm thinking about getting a pair of crocs for my trip to disney. i like the Islander style crocs, has anyone tried them ?

My Questions About Crocs Are;

do you wear them with or without socks ?
do you buy your regular shoe size ?
if wearing socks do you get them a little bigger ?
do your feet feel better in them than a well broken in pair of sneakers ?

I wear them both ways, depending out the temp, the only issue I have had is sometimes the insides are a little slippery if it is warm and your not moving around a lot
do you buy your regular shoe size ?
They are pretty close, but different styles fit differently, aslo if they are a little lose you can hit them with a hair dryer and they will shrink a little.

Nope I wear them the same size regardless
do your feet feel better in them than a well broken in pair of sneakers ?Absolutely, but there is also a small break in period for the crocs, don't expect to wear a brand new pair to WDW and not have some hot spots.

Yes with and without depending. Usually with socks in wdw.

Yes regular size but I do like to go try them out. I found they sometimes run a little differnet.

Depends on how thick your socks are. If you wear them with crocs they might stretch a little

Yes. I have not worn sneakers in years. Love my crocs.

I've been thinking about buying a pair Crocs myself. Thanks MM and Carrie for answering Bud's questions. It sure help me to decide, to buy a pair before the May trip and make sure their worn before hand.

Thanks for all the answers, after i did a little more research i went with the Cayman style. from what i found out the Islander style doesn't have arch support.

I purchased Croc's for the whole family before our trip last year and we never wore our sneakers at all the whole trip. We loved them. Extra plus when you get off a water ride they dry much quicker and if they get dirty just run them under a tap in the bathroom and they are clean.

Also agree, with the sizing but each style is different as there are now 5-10 different styles out there. We love them. I also wear socks in mine too but not with shorts just jeans.

Note to parents the Disney croc's for kids do fit small, as I was told, my son was in a 7 shoe the 8/9 croc fits more like a 7 or 7 1/2. So beware when buying, try them on first.

I brought my crocs with me this last trip and wore my sneakers in the parks. I should had worn the crocs. My feet were killing me.

I have the wooly Crocs and actually bought the size larger than I wear in normal shoes. Same thing with the 2 pair of Croc flip flops I have - they're both a size larger. The wooly Crocs came in handy @ WDW 2 weeks ago with the cold snap, too. My legs & feet didn't cramp as bad as they normally do wearing them. However, today at a Grand Opening Event I had to work I work the Croc flips - having to stand in them for 6 hours was not a good thing. My feet & legs ached - but they never have bothered me in all the walking around WDW that I've done since I bought them..... JMHO....
