How do you keep your crocs from flying off your feet? Should i plan on brining other shoes? Esp, when at other more extreme parks such as Busch Gardens?

I typically wear flip flops around the park. The only ride I've ever worried about my shoes on was Soarin and I just slipped them off and put them in the basket under the seat.

I'm not sure about other theme parks.

Soarin has a basket under the seat that you can put your shoes in. I can't think of any other ride that you wou d have to worry about losing your shoes on. My DD's wore crocs and rode most of the rides except Primevil Whirl and RNR and had no problems.

I've worn my Crocs on every coaster at WDW with no problem. On Soarin' you can just leave your shoes on the floor and they will be right there in the same spot when you "land." I like Soarin' barefoot! It feels good on your feet (I may be weird, though.)

Now at Six Flags, I've had to slip the strap on my Crocs behind my heel on certain "bottomless" coasters where your feet dangle. No problems there either if the fit is right.

Your crocs shouldn't be a problem for most rides at WDW. The only one where you will definitely need to remove them is Soarin', since they can slip off during your "flight." As previous posters indicated, you can leave them on the floor or put them in the basket underneath your chair. Tons of people have to do this, so you won't be alone. RnR does inversions, but as long as you keep you feet flat on the floor (not waving them along crazily), you should be golden.

When it comes to shoes at WDW just make sure that they are super comfy for long distances. I don't own crocs, but I have heard they are super comfy; HOWEVER, if you don't like them for super long distances, you might want to bring a different pair of shoes.

I wore my crocs and nike flip flops at WDW and had no issues at the roller coasters where you sit you arent allowed to take your shoes off b/c they wont fall off b/c you prolly arent going as fast as you think or you are stuck to your seat by "Gs" like on RnR that they wont fall out. On Soaring just remove the shoes and place them in the little basket under you, you have plenty of time to take them off and put them back on.

i work at a small amusment park and i have kids that want to take their shoes off on the paratrooper so i let them and they hold onto them but on most roller coasters they prohibit that b/c there is no need to take them off so you will be just fine w/the crocs and if you still feel uneasy about them put the strap on the back that will give you extra support.

At Busch Gardens, my kids (who usually wear flip flops) sit on their shoes. Otherwise, most people put their non- secured shoes on the exit side of the rollar coaster. There maybe little cubbies available at some coasters as well, i dont remember for sure. There are only two "floorless" coasters.
