Hi everyone!
I just bought a pair of Crocs and I have heard people rave about how good they are in Disney. Is it true?

It's true! I wore the mary jane style for a week at WDW, and DS (who was 3 at the time) wore his Caymans with no complaints at all! :thumbsup2

DS bought Mickey Crocs while we were at DTD one night. He decided to immediately wear them the next day. I was concerned w/wearing new shoes in the parks but all day long, I'd ask if he needed to go back and change into sneakers. He said they were soooo comfortable and we never went back once to change out of them! He wore the crocs for the rest of the vaca. and didn't have a single problem w/them. He wants to get another pair while we're there so he can have a "back up" pair.

I can't wear them b/c they're so wide and my narrow feet flop around in them. I tried his on and couldn't do it. I've tried them on subsequently and cannot wear them. Sad for me, right?!

Not only are they good at Disney, I think they are great for walking in general - running errands, or going to the mall.

I wear the flip flop models (Athens or Capris) almost every day.

I love my Crocs. The only dilemma I have right now is figuring out which ones to take do Disney b/c they are all so comfortable. I have the cleo sandals (so cute), the mary janes and the beach model. Love them all!

I wore a pair of the beach style all the time during my April trip. They are wonderful!! I have a pair of Disney, another pair of beach, two Athens and a Nile. I would live in them if I could!! I wear them when I go walking and I walk about a mile a day. I love them!!

I say take them all!

However, I have been known to take a bag just for shoes when I travel - I like to have options!

I couldn't do it. I walked/stood all day yesterday in my Athens, and wondered how you all do a week+ at WDW in these things. Don't get me wrong, I totally love my Athens (and new sassari's! :thumbsup2 ), but my feet still get tired! However, my legs/back/anything else didn't hurt, so I suppose they were doing their job...

I just had this brainchild right now...it could be because I don't do a whole lot of walking regularly. The perils of an office job...I sit on my butt all day! If you're used to being on your feet, you might not have such a hard time of it.

I never thought I would be wearing a pair of crocs! :sad2: Just don't think they look nice.pirate: But I got a huge blister on my foot while we were in AK so I broke down and bought a red pair. LOVE THEM!:yay: I have worn them everyday. I have to admit they are very comfortable. I am a changed women. I now wear crocs!

Daxx - have you tried the Maryjanes? They aren't as wide as the regular Crocs.

I LOVE my crocs. I bought the red ones and wore them for a week there. My feet felt the same in the evening as they had in the mornings. DH wore his jordans and complained about his feet hurting halfway through the week. On the way back home, we stopped at the Premium Outlets and I talked him into putting his feet in a pair of crocs. He said his feet stopped hurting immediately! Now he's a convert too. I never thought I'd wear those crocs b/c they were ugly as what not....but now they've kind of grown on me and I have a pink pair:goodvibes

IT'S TRUE! IT'S TRUE!

They are like walking barefoot without get the bottom of your feet filthy!
They are AMAZING! Wore crocs last year...and now i will never go back!

I think the DisBoards really need a CROC smilie!!!!!;)

I wear the flip flop models (Athens or Capris) almost every day.

i have a question, i find that if i wear normal flip flops for too long they tend to rub off the skin between my toes, does this happen with crocs?

I have no problems with that part of the Athens! :thumbsup2 I'm one who can't stand fabric thongs, so the rubber of the athens don't bother me...

Karentan-
The cleo model is a sandal that doesn't go between the toes. Like you, I have trouble with traditional flip flop style sandals that rub between my toes. The cleos are fantastic!

hey!
thanks alot i will definately wear my beach style next time i go to disney (next april).

Please keep on posting though. I want to hear other peoples opinion.:goodvibes

Had no real interest in having them, never mind wearing them - but our dd, a nurse who wears them on a daily basis, told me to try them. Got a pair of them a few weeks before our Disney trip - and even though i had brought 3 others pairs to wear on the trip, wore them every day at the parks. They felt awesome!!! Enough said.

Hi - I don't own a pair of crocs yet, but have been looking at them for a few months now.

I get blisters all the time no matter what I wear, sneakers, birks, although with the birks I get LESS blisters. I have really REALLY bad feet.

Does anyone else have this problem, and if so, did the crocs help/hurt? We have a trip in Sept. and I would love a blister free vacation. Last year when we were leaving the WL to come home I had to wear my slippers, I could not put on a pair of shoes. Thank God we drove or I would have had to wear slippers on the plane, or the park if we were staying one more day LOL.

I have 2 pairs of Mickey Crocs, 2 pairs of Athens (one of which I'm wearing right now) and another pair of plain boring Beaches ;) . So far, the only ones I've actually worn in WDW are the Athens, but I wore 'em for a full day in the MK--walking probably ~15 miles that day--and had absolutely no complaints.
