Help! I ordered crocs in my usual size and I thought they were too big (the strap doesn't even touch the back of my heel) so I ordered the next smaller size and they were too small. What is the deal? If you have some, how do they fit? Thanks so much for any help you can give. We are leaving for Disney in 2 days!!! :)

I can't even tell you about how my strap fits, I flipped it up and wear them like a clog. I love the comfort of these shoes! I just bought the Croc flip flops and they are amazing too!!!

If you wear a half size that is normal. Try the Caman style, they are sized differently than the Beach model. I wear a Large in the Beach and a 9 in the Cayman. In regular shoes I wear a 9 1/2.

They're supposed to be a little big.....the sides of your foot shouldn't touch the sides of the shoes. You can flip the strap forwards and wear them like a clog, or just make sure your foot is sitting back in the shoe so the strap is against your heel.

I have to say, I read all the raves about Crocs here and was skeptical. I tried some on in the store, and didn't think they were all that comfortable. Then I badly sprained my foot about a month before my WDW trip in March, and I knew I'd never be able to walk around the parks all day.

I broke down and ordered the Crocs. Wore sneakers the first half of the first day, and was in some serious pain. I switched to the Crocs, went to Downtown Disney, and walked around for hours. Not only did the pain not get any worse, my foot actually started to feel better even though I was walking on it.

I wore the Crocs for the rest of the trip, and had very little discomfort. Well, except for the night I went to Epcot, but there isn't a shoe made that can handle Epcot. :lmao:

I know I sound like a commercial, but it's true: Crocs saved my vacation. :rotfl2:

The same exact thing happened to me. I wear a 9 1/2 (occassionally a 9), and ordered the Cayman style in size 10 (at the mall I had tried on the Beach style -- the one was way too small and the other way too large) from Zappos. They were so big that my foot just flopped around inside of it, and I could not walk comfortably. So I sent them back and ordered the size 9, which initially seemed too small but then I realized that the strap was pushing my foot too far into the front of the shoe. Wearing them without the strap is not an option for me because my foot is narrow and they are not secure without the strap.

I read up on it and the easy solution -- throw them in the dryer for about 45 seconds, put them on, and apply firm but gentle pressure to the back strap to stretch it out. Also walk around in them while they are warm so they will mold to your feet a bit. You may have to do the dryer trick a few times but it really does work.

I've only had my Crocs for about a month but now I love them! I just bought another pair this week but I haven't tossed them into the dryer yet. The difference is amazing. It doesn't take long for them to get really comfy, so wear them a lot in the next 2 days.

Have a great trip!!!

Do you think they'd help w/ sciatica ?sp My mom is coming to disney with us in June and has horrible pain in her back/legs.

I know they're not her style but I think comfort is more important! I think they're adorable (I think need pink, lime, white, sage, khaki...)

They're not my style, either. I was actually pretty self-conscious wearing them at first, until I realized how comfy they were, and then I stopped caring what people thought of my taste in shoes. :p

I don't know if they'd help with sciatica, my problem was in the foot itself. But they're very shock-absorbing, and that's probably a good thing. They're fairly inexpensive, I think it's definitely worth picking up a pair for her to try.
