Is a 9 year old boy a junior or a child? and does any one know if it 's a child size, 3 or 4 or ? or a junior what size?

website is confusing, thanks

Children 6/7, 8/9, 10/11, 12/13 is a toddler to preschool age sizing. My 5 year old is just starting to wear the Child 12/13. After that size she is into Junior sizing.

thank you michelle. i'm going to order the junior size 3. i hope it's the right size.... ?

it has the lining in it since they're out of the crocs without the lining. I can probably just remove it for summer right?

:))) :goodvibes

I'm just really curious about these "crocs". First, they are absolutely hideous looking. Second, they're plastic. How in the world can anyone wear plastic shoes? Don't your feet sweat like crazy???? Whenever I see them, I wonder how the person wearing them doesn't get athletes foot or some other fungus from wearing them.

Well, first, not everyone thinks they're hideous looking. Second, they're not plastic. They're more like a foam. No, your feet (my feet, rather) do not sweat in them. My son and I have never got any kind of fungus from wearing Crocs.

I used to wear them a lot, because they were comfortable. Still wear them some, but not as often. My son wears them because of his sensory issues.

I don't think they're the cutest things in the world, but I don't think they're hideous, either. They look kind of like sailing shoes to me. The kids crocs with the band/stripe on the bottom are cute, imo.

My boys have crocs with a knit gray lining that can not be removed. Not sure if there are other kinds. HTH

My son is 7 and the kids/juniors no longer fit him. We had to upgrade to the size 4 in mens/6 in womens.... He currently wears a size 3-3 1/2 in the kid boy section for perspective.

My DD 8 wears a 2.5 in regular shoes, and a Junior 3 in crocs. I don't know if the linings can be removed or not. I am personally scared of the fuzzy lined crocs... but I just bought a pair of the fabric lined crocs today, so we will see if I can overcome my fear!

Is there any way you can get into a store that sells them and that way you would be assured of the sixes beofe you did any online ordering?

We just went inside a crocs store the other day to try some on for sizing. My dd7 is a size 1 in her new sneakers/sandals. The size 1 crocs were too big but the 12/13 fit. My dd11 currently has size 6 sneakers from the kids section which are about a 7.5 in ladies. In the regular crocs the w7 was too big but in the fit and tone flip flop style the w7 fit.
