I've only owned crocs since the beginning of February, but after wearing them around town (not every day) and three days at the parks, I'm starting to notice the treads are worn almost off at contact points. I have a few questions:

Are they going to start deteriorating faster now? (is the outer layer tougher than the inner layer?)

Is there any way to repair the treads? Could I use shoo goop to create new treads?

Are offroad Crocs more durable?

I love crocs, but may have to relegate them to around the house/parks use. I'm just not finding them to be durable enough.

Sounds to me like you just got unlucky with your pair, I have had mine for months now and other than some dirt on them from the ground mine look the exact same as they did the day I got them. No worn tread etc.

The only complaint I have with Crocs is how the bottom gets worn and very slippery! Guess nothing is perfect!
