CROCS..are you folks SERIOUS!

I have feet problems, and Crocs are so much cheaper than Born, Dansko, Clarks, etc. Like $60 to $100 a pair cheaper. If you would like to contribute to my "Comfy Shoe Fund," I'll be more than happy to give up the Crocs.

Seriously, the only time my feet didn't hurt after a long day at WDW is when I wore Crocs. I have the ones WITHOUT the holes on the top and they are black. They really just look like any other clogs. I also have the Niles Sandals, and those aren't quite as weird looking as the Beach/Cayman style.

I've said it before and I'll say it again... I'll be the podiatrists are going to have a field day in six months or so when all of the Croc wearers are having foot / leg trouble. :confused3
:rotfl: :teeth: :rotfl:

actually, my podiatrist recommended them to me! everyone in his office had them on when i was there last month!

After reading all the posts about how comfortable they are I've gone ahead and ordered a pair to wear at the hospital. I hope that they will keep my tootsies comfy! :thumbsup2

Ok, about a month ago I was totally on the same train with the "these are the ugliest shoes in the world, I will never buy a pair" crowd. Then - vacation. I think the sun does strange things to your brain when you are on vacation. I walked into a store that had an entire room devoted to Crocs. I started trying them on and laughing at them. Then, I tried on the Islanders and this strange feeling came over me - hmmmm, these actually really are pretty comfortable and not nearly as ugly as the beach and some of the other styles. So, after all, it was vacation, I bought them. Now, I have lived in them for about 3 weeks and am looking forward to wearing them to WDW next month! I'm even hoping to get another pair in an different color but I'm having a hard time finding the Islanders.

Here's the real kicker - after I was expressing my surprise about how comfortable they are, what does DH bring home from the store last Thursday? YEP - CROCS! :lmao:

Our friends razzed him GOOD! I think he just loves to wear them so people raz him about them - he gets lots of attention that way!!! :rotfl2:

So, in about a month, you'll see us BOTH sporting our Crocs on our anniversary trip to WDW - if you see us, be sure to give my DH some much needed attention - tease him about his Crocs!

WHEN CROCS ATTACK.....

This is how serious my family was when we went to Disney. And my feet aren't even in this one. Even the fashionable 20-somethings wore them. Anyone who didn't (DH and DStepSon) got blisters.

I am not in love with wearing them every day, and prefer my black Teva Mushes. But if I know I'll be on my feet all day the Crocs are the only thing that will keep me feeling energetic to the end. Don't know what they put in that shoe.

I'll stick with my flip flops in the park!

The amusing thing to me is that I've got three of those colors for myself! The turquoise goes with half my shirts, the brown and khaki go with most of my pants, lol!

They look like they would GIVE you Arthritis IF you wear them. :sad2: I agree with the OP ALL the way! :thumbsup2

I was at the Rheumatologist last month & he was asking me a lot questions about the Crocs. He even asked to look inside of it. The cushion with the orthotic foot bed interested him. Also the non-slip soles.

I'll admit that I was really against Crocs until I saw the Nile style. So I bought some. I will admil that they are super comfy and at least they don't look like clown shoes. They aren't the cutest sandals ever but I certainly don't feel like an escaped member of Ringling Bros. wearing them either! Now the other styles are too over the (big) top for me

I didn't like the regular crocs but I sure love the Niles. I live in them. When the weather got nice again, I wore them to work and one of my co-workers said "Ohhhhhh, the shoes are back!"

I have them in black and orange.
