CROCS..are you folks SERIOUS!

Crocs are ugly. Make no mistake. I did try a pair on and I thought they were hot and uncomfortable.

Ummm :confused3

Really not getting the whole crocs thing. They are so ugly and not comfy in my opinion. I have seen so many people wearing them though

No way...not me man. I like a "cute" shoe thanks!

I don't get their attraction either but then I'm totally happy in my Reeboks. But hey to each their own. :)

No they aren't and I live in So Fla. Wear them all the time, everyday, everywhere, work, church, the mall, Disney. Only time recently that I haven't worn them is when I had to interpret a funeral.

After high school I developed the mentality of, "I don't care what you think of me," and I will gladly wear my Crocs in WDW and in public even if people dislike them or DH thinks I'm crazy for having them. They are as light as a feather and make my feet feel like they are on cloud 9.

Nope they are not plastic they are an antimicrobial resin. They are the only shoes that do not hurt my feet when I walk in them. It took me 3 trips to the store to buy them I just kept saying they are too ugly. Now I do not care.

I'm 43 with flat wide feet.

i was at another paramount park today and also saw a TON of them ....everywhere ... even on my own feet! they ROCK! they are like wearing your slippers everywhere! i wore them in the waterpark today and then stepped right out of the pool and never took them off until a few minutes ago! no sweaty feet either!

* i must admit i was VERY leary and have only given in recently to the CROC fad ... i think i have had these about a month, but i have not worn many other shoes since then! *

Took me forever to get around the ugly factor & buy them. Now I don't wear anything else because they're the only shoes that haven't bothered my bad knee. Plus they're so lightweight, it feels like I'm wearing my bedroom slippers! However, I don't own them in any of the wild colors, only khaki & chocolate, so they end up looking more like regular clogs than anything that attracts attention. :)

They're so ugly they're cute!
I have a yellow pair that I wear quite a bit. They're super comfy, like walking on air!

I bought a pair on vacation after developing some flip flop blisters. I didn't even find them that comfortable. They look cute on kids, but on me they look like orthopedic clown shoes!

I will never understand why people really care what other people are wearing on their feet, this "debate" amazes me each and everytime!

I just know that since DD has been wearing her crocs, I don't need to deal with smelly sneakers after she's gotten them wet in the rain or worn them without socks!

Martha<----- PROUD owner of SIZE 10 red croc.... you wanna talk about CLOWN shoes - but hey, my feet don't hurt at the end of a long day at a theme park!

I can't like them :crazy2: ...nope, not one little bit!
Nope, sorry , I don't care how comfy they are!
They have got to be the UGLIEST shoes ever made yet absolutely everyone has a pair (except of course members of my family :teeth: )
DD wants some but I just cannot bring myself to buy a pair.
I know everyone says they are super comfy but why :confused3 do they have to make them so darn ugly!
Everytime I see a pair I think of that song "U-G-L-Y- you ain't got no alibi, you ugly, you ugly" (I mean the shoes, not the people)--I can't help it, I just can't pick comfort over good old fashion sense

People, you wear them while GARDENING! :sad2: HOW the heck can people be comfortable in those things? :confused3 I tried on a pair about 7 months ago, and they absolutle were #1-UGLY and #2-like wearing a plastic shoe with NO support at all! :sad2: To each his own, they are NOT for me! :rolleyes1

I think they're ugly too, and I never felt they fit right when I would try them on. My grandchildren our here and I bought my grandson a pair, they fit me so I wore them around the house and now I own two pairs. Yellow and blue. I also got the new charms for them, pink flamingos .

I still think they are ugly, but they are very comfortable. I may soon think of them like the Mini Cooper, so ugly they're cute.

I have back problems and am very concerned about footwear when I go to Disney in Oct. Do you guys that like crocs find them to be good walking shoes? I like the tie-dye ones! :)

Well, I am one to shirk from anything in vogue, but I tried them on after my mother and sis-in-law raved about them, and boy are they great for me! They feel like wearing house slippers, but with more support. They don't let my feet, ankles or knees get tired when walking. They can be worn to the water park and home again. I only have one khaki pair but I wear them everywhere. I did find, though, that when I'm working, I can only wear them every other day, otherwise I can't stand to wear my regular shoes........they feel too uncomfortable and my feet ache at the end of the day. If I don't wear the Crocs two days in a row that doesn't happen. I've worn 'em all summer, though, so it'll be awful when I go back! I really don't care what they look like, so long as they are socially acceptable to wear (I couldn't go out in my slippers, for example).

I've only had 2 negatives...........the hot Texas/Florida sun going through those holes is one! Be sure to sunscreen your feet if you'll be out in them. And my left one did rub a blister on top of my foot at the lip.........I applied a blister bandage, though, and didn't get any others. With the bandage, I was perfectly comfortable.

If I had foot problems, or was a nurse and on my feet all day, I *may* have considered buying a pair, but otherwise no way.
I'd rather have some foot pain at the end of a day than wear a pair of Crocs.

Add me to the never would be caught dead in Crocs club.... I think they are hideous.

I've said it before and I'll say it again... I'll be the podiatrists are going to have a field day in six months or so when all of the Croc wearers are having foot / leg trouble. :confused3

More power to those that wear them.... but don't try to make me put on a pair!!

:rotfl: :teeth: :rotfl:
