Crocs and Socks

Thinking of crocs, but it's cold here and would need to wear socks. Should I get them now for winter wear or wait til spring?

My DD (12) got hers the first of Oct. and has worn hers to school both with and without socks. We live where it's already cold, so it's socks or she can't wear them. You can see them through the holes though. HTH

I bought a pair of crocs without holes (used to be Highlands, now Aspen) last winter. I wore them all the time with socks. Kept my feet warm and dry.

I also wear my beach model with socks every once in a while. Yes, you can see the socks, but if the socks are a similar color, then it is not very noticeable.

I don't have "real" crocs but I have a few pair of the Payless knockoffs and I wear them every night to work. I have never had such comfortable shoes.
I asked for a pair or two of crocs for Christmas because the knock offs are so comfortable I can imagine how the real ones feel.
I wear them with socks every night and they are great. No slipping, and the shoes don't eat my socks like alot of shoes do. I hate pulling up my socks constantly.
the best thing about the shoes was this past summer at the parks. It rained every day and I was comfortable in my shoes. Everyone else was complaining about their wet sneakers or leather shoes. I just squished for a few minutes and they dried off. I had a blast jumping into big puddles like a little kid and not having to worry about wet shoes all day long. Peggie

I bought my first pair this past summer. I was so excited to finally buy them but when I wore them, the tops of my feet would sweat. I know they were the right size, anything larger and I would have had too much room in the toes.

But, now that it's cooler, my Crocs with socks are the only thing I'm wearing. Even with the holes, I haven't had a problem unless I walk through the grass in the morning. It doesn't bother me to see my socks, but I have cream colored Crocs and white soxs so they do blend together.

I didn't know Crocs made their own socks. I'll check that out. Thanks!

I've always worn Crocs with socks. But I also have absolutely no qualms about looking a little dorky to be comfortable. They're my favorite shoes!

My crocs are more comfy with socks than without I think I got a size too big on accident and that is why I like them better with socks - go crocs!

Love my crocs! Wear them with socks when it is cool. Waiting to get my Aspens, just have not had time to go and shop. No one in my small town carries them.

I wear socks w/ my CROCS all the time. As long as they are comfy I don't care what they look like. I see people w/ CROCS and socks all the time. I, too, want a pair of Crocs that do not have the holes ..... but, they are $40.00 here .... so I will wait a while.
