Crocs amazed me

Every year my whole family wears nothing but jogging shoes in the parks despite the Aug heat. This year I bought my whole family (even DH) crocs and we wore the joggers 1 day and the crocs never came off our feet for the next 8 days. I had never worn a pair until that first day in WDW and I couldn't believe how comfortable they were and perfect for August weather because it didn't matter if my feet got wet. I can't believe I went all those trips previous without them...better late than never!

So I should just "take the plunge" and try wearing mine for a day?

Mom always told me to wear my tennies to places where I'll be walking alot.

I've been wanting, for a long time, to find a shoe that was comfortable and I didn't mind getting wet. I hate putting damp shoes on the next morning or walking around in wet shoes making blisters.

Maybe I should start with a smaller park like Animal Kingdom...with Epcot being the ultimate test.

michelle1, I agree with you on the crocs. I've always done sneakers and walking shoes before, but this trip we all had crocs. My feet have NEVER been so comfortable in Disney! I had sneakers with me, just in case, but I didn't need them. I wore my crocs everywhere.

I wore my Crocs everyday at WDW and my feet never hurt. They have always ached in other shoes after spending a day in the park. I love CROCS!

I haven't taken any sneakers to WDW in the last five trips. I live in my Crocs and Teva Mush flip flops down there. I love my Crocs, but to tell you the truth I find my Teva Mush more comfortable than even the Crocs.

Who sells the Teva's? I know noone near me has them.

I bought little ankle socks. When its hot my feet get all sweaty and slide around in the crocs. so yes Ill be wearing socks with crocs! I don't care how it looks! My feet will be happy :cool1: If there is a water ride then I'll just take them off and stick em in the bottom of the stroller!

Just a note...Animal Kingdom is at least the second largest park. It doesn't have as many attractions but its a lot more spread out than any of the other parks. If you want to test the crocs wear them to the MK or MGM....though I don't think you'll have any problem at any of the parks if your crocs fit well.

I tried on a pair of Crocs the other day. At first, I tried them with the strap in the back and my toes were hitting the end of the shoe. They lady at the shoe store said to flip the strap forward. So, I tried that and then when I walked they felt like they were falling off my feet. Are they supposed to fit like that, or are my feet just too narrow to wear Crocs? (I do normally wear narrow sized shoes)
