Crockpot recommendations??

Can anyone recommend a crockpot brand? Looking for a 6 quart as a gift. I love mine but it is so old they do not make anything like it anymore!

I cannot remember the brand of ours but go for digital with timer and keep warm function... and the latches for the lid so you can grab it and put it in the car without spillage.

I have a rival crock pot, 6qt with locking lid. But it's not entirely spill proof. It does help though. I believe hamilton beach makes a better locking seal.

Mine's $30 at walmart. The 7qt standard is only $20 though.

It's a slow cooker, and a ricecooker, and a steamer and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. I've had it for 4 years and never been disappointed. Very happy with the quality.

Mine was a hand-me-down from my mom for my graduate school apartment and I think it's somewhere between 10 and 15 years old. She's had it ever since they invented one where the cooking pot could be separated from the rest of it to wash instead of trying to not get the plug wet. She only replaced it because she wanted a new one that had a delay timer before it starts cooking, whereas mine just has 3 settings: High - Low - Off.

At any rate, you can't kill the thing. And everyone I know with a Rival hasn't had a death either.
