UPDATE
Well, THAT worked amazingly well!
Two people ate 1 cooking of Beef stew for two meals - beef, veggies from my veggie tray, 1 packet of beef stew mix, leftover coffee and water.
Two people ate 1 cooking of sauce for two meals of ravioli and 1 meal of sloppy joes. Sauce was 1 lb of burger and two hot sausages, browned and brought frozen, well wrapped in newspaper, 1 jar of spaghetti sauce, 1 can diced tomatos, chopped veggies from veggie tray. Part of sauce was removed after cooking, and a package of fresh raviolis from the deli case was put right in the sauce for the last half hour of cooking, sprinkled with mozzerella cheese. SERIOUSLY yummy.
One person had 3 meals of chicken and salsa.
I gave the crock pot and big plastic spoon to a local friend when I came home, but I would have had no problem leaving it for the housekeeper. The meals were way healthier and less expensive than even the best counter service.
