Anybody out there do alot of crock pot cooking? I am just getting into it and was told that I could purchase a full size turkey, but have the meat cutters cut it in half.
Once it is cut in half I would be able to cook it using my crock pot. My question basically is:
If you have done this....what do you do? Just put a little water and let it go for a period of time, or is there prep work that is required.
Any assistance would be great.
thanks,

. I just throw the cut of beef in the pot with a can of beef broth, set it on low, and leave it for about eight hours. During the last two hours, you can throw some veggies and potatoes in if you wish. I normally just mash up some spuds and make gravy with the drippings. It's my DS favorite entree. The house ends up smelling delicious and it's sooooo easy.
