Crockpot Chocolate cake recipe??

Not a problem - you are welcome...

I have all these great recipes and no one to cook for (hubby gets back from Iraq in May)... Guess I will have a bunch to catch up on next fall and winter!

I'm thinking maybe (if I am pathetic enough), Mom will let me do dessert for Thanksgiving... she's one of those Stay out of my kitchen! types... not in a bad way tho - just been doing it so long, that she has it down to a science!

Thanks so much for your recipes. They each sound yummy.

thanks Mary. I'll make everyone except the carrot cake. That is my least favorite cake (having to frost 100 of them when I was young for a church bake sale for my Mother).

I love my crockpots and look forward to making these yummy treats.

Mary, Thank you for all the wonderful recipes I can't wait to try them all. And a bigger Thank You and God Bless for the sacrafice your DH & family makes everyday so families like mine are free & safe.

Thanks for the great recipes. I can't decide which one to make first.

I have one question though. What is buttermilk baking mix and where do I get it?

Thanks,
Pocono

I've become known as the "Crock Pot Queen" in my family... (or maybe "Crack Pot Queen"

depending on who you talk to and when you talk to them!)

Seriously, tho you are all very welcome and I'm glad that I could help out!!

TwingleMum: Thanks for the kind words. Been doing this 'military thing' for a long time now - DHs job had him gone a bunch even before Iraq. I have a GREAT family here that keeps me company and crazed so time goes by quickly. Plus, DH calls about 2x a week and IMs about 3x. I think I actually talk to him more now than when he was home!

Pocono: My guess would be to try the aisle in the supermarket with Bisquick.

These all sound incredible! Have any of you tried them in the "crock pot cake pan" that can be ordered from Rival? My crockpot (and my daughter's) are a little bigger, but we have those cake pans.

Thanks!

Thanks for the wonderful recipes!
And remember, for a healthier version, substitute applesauce for the oil on a 1 for 1 basis.
I use applesauce in all my cake, brownie, pancake, waffle recipes-- have for about a year--absolutely no difference in taste, texture and flavor.

It cuts calories AND fat content.
