Croc Shoes For Walkin' The World???

I know there was a thread on this earlier, but I just got my crocs last night and I LOVE them.

Should I wear them all day, everyday for our up-coming trip?

Last time, I wore a good walking shoe and sox and I did not have any foot problems.

Yes make sure you wear them now and break them in.

For our October trip, DD and I brought one pair of Crocs and one pair of other shoes. It ended up raining every day of our trip and we wore our Crocs the whole trip. Our feet felt great - no soreness, pain or blisters. Crocs are ideal for WDW. You can beat them for wet conditions either.

My DW and myself just bought some new crocs today. I got the "OffRoad" crocs and my wife bought the new "Mary Jane" style. We are planning on wearing them on our up coming trips. I'm also taking along my Teva sandals, to alternate between. My wife is taking a pair of sneakers to change into, if her feet hurt. I'm pretty sure that is not going to happen, considering what I have read on the DIS. But we'll see what happens. I'll let you know after we get back in Sep.

Sure, get the yellow ones, to match the ponchos...oh wait, they're clear now...what a shame, but if you still have some old ponchos, you should most definitely wear that combo! EYE CANDY anyone??
I wear flip flops everywhere I go, so I guess Crocs are the new flip flops then?

I alternated; crocs for a day or so, then a good pair of tennis shoes (KSwiss 7.0 Ascendor SLTs -- very light) for a day, then back to the Crocs. I found that I needed some support after wearing marshmallows.

If you know it's going to rain, or if you know you're going on a water ride (like Kali) then I say wear Crocs every day. If you're feet need a break and you know you'll stay dry, a pair of sneakers is a great alternative. Last summer I wore my Crocs every day except for one day in Epcot because I didn't think I'd be getting wet. Silly me, it rained and rained that day.

I have worn Teva's to WDW for 6 trips and swore by them. (Except, they smell when sweaty, so I wore WHITE socks with them! I even had a CM comment "That's a nice look.") Well, I just got a pair of Crocs and I am addicted! I can't wait for our September trip! (Now only if I can get my DH to get a pair. Hmmmmmm.....)

I've seen knock offs at Target and such...I was wondering, is there a difference? Should I buy the name brand, or is it pretty much the same thing?

We just returned from a 3 week trip to WDW/ Disney Magic Cruise/ WDW

My son and I wore our Crocs everyday and our feet didn't hurt at all. I remeber past trips were my feet were aching after the parks but not in my Crocs!

Even with the heat my feet weren't even sweaty.

Absolutely the best!

they have a different feel. The material is harder. Maybe after they have been worn they will be the same.

How often do Croc's wear out ?

If you wear Croc's each day - for 60 days of summer - will they still be good next summer ?

I bought a pair and have been wearing them for 3 weeks. They still look great, the bottoms are a bit dirty.

But they are made of some sort of rubber/plastic - bound to be worn down one day.


So, how often do you need to replace your worn down Croc's ?
Or are they indestructable ?

I've only had my crocs a few weeks and they are like new still. I have heard that when the tread wears down and the sole becomes smooth that they can become very sliippery. Its time to replace them at that time!

I could not wear Crocs all day at WDW. They are okay for everyday stuff for me but I need more support when I walk as much as I do at WDW. I take my Berks and tennis shoes.
