Croc sandals comfortable enough to wear in the parks?

Personally I can't wear Crocs and do a lot of walking. I couldn't imagine walking around WDW in them. They are cushy and feel good on the bottoms of your feet but for some reason they make my ankles hurt.

Crocs Capris flip flops.. wore them the entire week last trip.. no problems! Plan on wearing them again on my upcoming trip

I wore these on my last trip also. I had no problems at all. I am also quite chubby. :cool1:

I wore caymans in December and they were ok. I preferred my sneakers for support. I will still bring my crocs in October when we go again. I also recently got a pair of scutes and mary janes. I love the scutes!! I got them at Big Lots for $10 a pair (about mid-June). The Mary Janes were the mickey head ones!

(btw-did you know your crocs can melt in extreme heat? My caymans melted in the car top carrier in the extreme heat on our way back home from Destin, FL :( )

I like my Caymans and my Beach Crocs, both are very comfy to me. I do have to wear Crocs w/socks for the first day to break in a new pair or the tops of me feet will get chafed. After that....Ahhhhhhh pure comfort!

I have always worn only Reef flip flops, but upon seeing so many Croc threads before our most recent trip I decided to try the Croc Capri flip flops. I can't believe I went through so many trips with sore feet- the capri sandals were sooooo comfy. It's all I wear now, no more Reefs for me!

I wear the Crocs flip flops (I believe they're the "Athens" style.) I love them. Especially at Disney. I'm one who's always worn flip flops to Disney, so these were an upgrade for my feet :) They're great because they do have some support and also some traction on the bottom.

i used to wear crocs all the time. The most comfortable shoe I've worn at Disney. I'm not a big fan of the sandles. They have pretty high arches in the sandles I bought or so it seemed, and I have very small/low arches so they were painful. I enjoy my classic crocs though.
I have yet to find a pair of sandles/flip-flops that are as comfortable as crocs at Disney.

My girls wore broken in crocs , mary jane style last trip one day and sneakers and socks another. They said their feet felt better at the end of the day when they wore crocs.

I don't know if I would want flip flops or brand new unworn crocs in the parks but if you have the kind that protect your toes and are worn a few times you should be ok.

I wore the Crocs Beach my whole trip last December, and my feet didn't hurt at all, which was very unusual! I am normally a flip flop girl, but I have realized that it's just not worth it. I highly recommend Crocs! I am going to get a pair of Athens to take on my next trip and hope they are just as comfy.

My mom swears by Reefs. Did you ever try the heavy-duty looking ones? I'm not sure what they are called, but they are beefier than the regular flip flops, and they are the ones with the bottle opener on the bottom. She says they are just as comfy as Crocs.
