I love crocs - and decided to order a pair of croc flip flops for our trip. I got them... I don't love them. They part that goes between my toes feels too big. Maybe too thick? Is this something I just need to get used to? Has anyone else had the same problem?

I only wear the Athens model. It took about a week of constant (daily) wearing to get used to them but I do find them to be comfortable even after 8 hours of wear. Now I don't wear any other shoe when I am in Disney.

I love the Crocs Athens. So comfy from the first time I put them on. I wore them the whole week at Disney.

I was wondering the same thing....I wore the shoes but would like to try the flip flops for our trip in warmer weather where I refuse to wear crocs and socks!!!! It was fine in Dec when I wore jeans everyday but not for skorts or shorts!!!! How are their flops compared to Reefs??? Do you get a blister from the rubber between your toes vs the fabric in Reefs?

I literally live in my Crocs Athens  I only wish I could wear them to work. Actually I do, I wear them in and change into my work shoes. I even wear them all winter, even with jeans. I have 4 or 5 pairs. They are the first thing I put on in the morning when I get out of bed and the last thing I take off at night when I crawl back in (I wear them instead of house shoes)

OP, if you wear them a few days, you will get used to them in no time at all. I was used to wearing all different kinds of flip flops so I didn't need to get used to these.

Mine are Ithaca....

I wear flip flops all the time, but the Reefs and Ugg versions have a cloth like "between the toe" part so maybe I just need to get used to a big honkin piece of rubber in there.

I have 1 pair of Ithica and I can't get used to them. That piece is designed funny and it rubs the top of my foot. Go get you a pair of Athens and you won't be disappointed.

Me and my girlfriend both wear crocs including the flip flops. We havent had this problem... we find them just as comfy as the rest!

I have 6 pairs of the Croc Capri Flip Flops - they're the ones with the fabric straps. They are so comfortable. I have them in different colors to go with different outfits. That being said, I live in Florida so you can almost wear them 24/7/365! I've worn them for 15 hours straight at the MK when it was EMH and I had absolutely no trouble with my legs or feet. Absolutely love them!! I can't wear the ones with the heavy plastic/rubber across the top of my feet.......just uncomfortable for me. :confused3

last year when we stopped at the Premium Outlet Mall on Vineland the CROCs store had a grand opening sale. It was great, I stalked up on Athens.

For me the Athens were the only flip flops that didn't cause me any blisters and stayed comfortable for a whole day.

I guess I may be the lone dissenter, but even though I love my regular Crocs and wear them daily here at home, I just can't get used to the Croc flip flops (and I have three different pairs). I love flip flops, am a flip flop diva, and have well over a hundred pairs (and probably closer to two hundred pairs, actually). I always carry several pairs to WDW, no matter what time of the year I am going. The ones I find the most comfortable by far, are the Teva Mush, Montrail Molokini, and Reefs, although Havainias are also pretty comfortable once you get used to them. I've carried my Croc flip flops down there a few times, but even though I wear flip flops year around (ones with both the cloth thingy and the plastic toe thingy), the toe thingy in the Crocs still feels too thick.

Now I am the opposite. I prefer Croc flip flops over Reefs anyday. I walk around all over with my croc flip flops and my feet don't hurt at all. Yes it did take time to get used to the big piece of rubber but after the break in they were fine. I am looking at the new ones on their website they are not flip flops but they have a small heel.

The rubber between your toes is so smooth, I doubt it would cause a blister unless your big toe & next one are very close together. I use to wear old navy flip flops but they hurt my legs & back after walking for a while. My legs or back never hurt with the Athens.

JUST got my Croc Athens yesterday. Got them for an upcoming trip because they matched my new bathing suite PERFECTLY...low and behold, their the MOST comfortable flops EVER!!!:cheer2:

That's the style I wear - have 6 pairs of them. All different colors. I wore this style for 15 hours straight at the MK in August during all that rainy weather. No problems at all. Loved them.

I wore these for our wedding ceremony and reception in Disney this past November:

And my crocs to our dessert party in Epcot later that night. I just could not put my heels back on. I had on a long dress so you could not even see them.

My husband is packing his Mickey Mouse crocs that he bought at DW last year. He loved them for the comfort they brought. They are a must have on the packing list this year.

Apparently, we have the same feet!

I do like the Crocs Capri style (though mine are too big so I'm going to send them back and get a smaller size) - the fabric between the toe is fine.

I got these Ithacas on clearance, so I may try to frankenstein them into something comfortable.

I really think I must some kind of abnormally small space between the toes issue. :confused3
