Do you think they did this because of the info they collected? Or do you think the hotel staff did it because the room was available? I have gotten upgrades too but i think it was before they started asking all the questions. :D

I honestly don't know. I'm pretty sure it was done before arrival, because when we checked in the CM immediately said (as soon as the info appeared on the screen) "Oh, you're staying on the 5th floor, but your room isn't ready yet." Why it was done, we never found out. In all our trips to WDW (around 20), this is the only time we were upgraded to concierge at no charge.

I can't recall when the questions started, but I know my DW and I have talked with CMs a lot when we call CRO for reservations or PS. And we've done every survey emailed us or mailed or stopped on the way into the park or the way out. (I think that's because I am just so darned opinionated and not afraid to share it! :o )

I like to think they gather this info for a good reason. I could be wrong, too.

I answer them too! LOL :teeth: I love giving my opinion but hate repeating myself :smooth:
 

I would agree with you and Brian on the repetition point. As computer-savvy as Disney is, I'd think they could record that info once and maybe occasionally check to make sure it is current. As often as my DW and I call, we're certainly not going to change phone numbers, zip code, addresses or birthdays that much. Well, maybe I could change my birth YEAR... :earseek:
