Critique our plans, please?--WDW Anniversary Trip (and my first time!)

On the 7th, if you go to MK till 11, you will probably be back at the resort around midnight, leaving then around 6:30 the next day sounds too short for the day you have planned next. Same for the following night. It would be too much for me.

I would also agree to looking into your FP on the 8th. For 2 adults, there must be something better out there. You have many kiddie rides in the morning exactly like most families with young children will tour. Check indeed easywdw.com and touringplans.com for a touring plan.

Other question, on the 8th. Where will you have breakfast? If it's at the hotel and you leave at 6:30am, it is extremely long till your lunch at 2:35pm.

For the 9th, I wouldnt park hop back and forth. You have plenty MK time scheduled.

We were planning on either bringing something small for breakfast or grabbing a QS breakfast in the park when we get hungry. My husband actually brought up that big gap when I was showing him the itinerary! :)

I like some of the more kiddie rides, which is why I got the FP+ in the morning for them, and then we'll get the 4th FP and so on throughout the day. But if we ride them during magic hours, then yea, I'd change those FP to some of the other more exciting rides. Based on the calendar I saw, there's a fairly good amount of FP availability at the moment, though of course that may change.

epcot may take longer than you think- it's big. Mission space, soarin if its open, living with the land and the seas are all very worthwhile in future world also. I don't think epcot can be done in half a day.
I love the mk too but I think there may be more unique attractions at epcot than some of the lesser MK offerings and I would like to spend an equal amount of time at each park.

Thanks! We may end up spending more time at Epcot than is on the schedule, really just depends on our mood at the time. I've scheduled more Magic Kingdom time 'cause that's what appeals to my husband and I most, but we're definitely not hide-bound to the schedule. If we get bored with it, or sick of crowds, or just get excited to see it, we'll head over. Benefits of it just being the two of us! And getting people's input also helps me decide where to spend the time. :)

When we eat there we do breakfast or lunch, would not waste a dinner on it. Our reason to go in first place is to take kids for characters, so depends if it's important to you.

Does sound like some long days, but your 2 adults for a quick trip. So, why not...if that's what you want to do. Plus, we like to use our TS meals as breaks. Gets you off your feet for an hour or two and you can relax in the AC.

Thanks--that seems to be the consensus, that breakfast at CP is worth but dinner not so much.

And yea, definitely long days, but we're ok with not doing everything on the schedule. I just like planning in case we are totally eager to do it all. :)

So I realize this is late, but a big THANK YOU!!! to everyone for the advice, pointers, and tips. We had an absolutely fantastic trip, and the info I got from here was a big part of making it such a great trip. :)
